A quick and easy version on Github is called Web2Executable.
I’ve created an app that runs in the background, that can spawn a normal process (such as a todo app), so this would be a good use of that. I just don’t know how persistent the todo data would be, if the app was then exited completely.

Hello dynomix, can this be installed on an existing website that has multiple members and can will each member have seperate access to the ToDo so that they can create their own individual list?
Well, I am not sure existing web site which technology build. But for individual member can manage own todo because of it store in his machine browser local storage.
Cool app! But in your demo when I save todos and refresh the page, they disappear. Aren’t they supposed to be saved in local storage?
Yes it support local storage, But in demo I removed that feature due to people are use demo as personal app that’s why. If you purchase source code have that feature,
