Just bought it, opened it and let the studio change the ‘compile’ to ‘implementation’
but this reference:
dependencies { implementation fileTree(dir: ‘libs’, include: [’*.jar’]) compile files(‘libs/sqliteassethelper-2.0.1.jar’) androidTestCompile(‘com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso-core:2.2.2’, { exclude group: ‘com.android.support’, module: ‘support-annotations’ })
is returning: Could not find method implementation() for arguments [directory ‘libs’] on object of type org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.dsl.dependencies.DefaultDependencyHandler.
What did I miss?
that ‘compile’ doesn’t want to change?

Hello, in Android Studio 3.6.3 comes an error if i make the gradle build “Caused by: org.gradle.internal.metaobject.AbstractDynamicObject$CustomMessageMissingMethodException: Could not find method implementation() for arguments [directory ‘libs’] on object of type org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.dsl.dependencies.DefaultDependencyHandler.”
Please replace compile with implementation in build.grade file
