How Can i import CSV data for 10000 stores specially with photos lat/long and categories at once ? Please explain case by case separately if you can, please Help

what is the maximum number of stores that could accomadate in the script with minimum server reqiurement?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can refer to this knowledge base article on Google API key limits and server requirements for import – https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/nothing-happens-when-i-click-import-and-geocode/

The free Google API key will allow daily limit of 2500 or you can upgrade to the premium key which will allow more. If you wish to import images and categories, you can refer to this article here https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/importing-images-custom-markers-using-csv/

If you already have lat/long, you can import without the geocode limit by referring to this article here https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/import-without-geocoding/

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, that is a common error if your PHP server does not support mysqli_connect, kindly check with your hosting provider. If you wish to get the older version that supports mysql_connect, you can request it via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden

May 4, 2018: Outstanding reviews from great customers. Thank you!

Can this be used instead for a “yellow pages” of stores, rather than for stores within your organisation?

Eg, the user sees stores around him / her or uses the search to find any store in the db.

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, the plugin can be used to search stores in the database around customers.

Thanks for the reply.

I don’t see how it can be used to enter the name of a store the user may be looking for. The field box allows only location input.

To be used like a “yellow pages” it would have to have to allow for store search by entering store name and having either autofill or auto results.

Am I missing something here?

Hi there,

As per Codecanyon support policy here https://codecanyon.net/item/super-store-finder-for-wordpress/11334595/support , the off-the-shelf product comes as it is as per live preview and item description page. It seems that your requirements might require customization which is out of the support scope, however can be requested to our devs team if needed via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden

Our map quit working – probably needs an update to API v3? Where are the upgrade instructions?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can refer to this article here https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/google-maps-api-keys-usage-and-limits/ on how to create Google API key for the new Google Maps Platform. Ensure to press f12 on your browser to monitor the error message in the consoles.

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to remove the comma that auto-generates after each tag? Is there a place in the code I could turn off this feature and re-import the stores? Our client uses this tag in a URL and the comma breaks the link.

Thank you!

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can translate the languages via the language/ folder.

Hi. Does this come with multi-user account so users can create account and create their own maps?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, the plugin does not come with multi-user account, it has multiple user management to support a single store locator map.

Hi. Our Map stopped working.

We have set up an API key from Google as per your instructions, entered the API key in the Admin but the map fails to load on the front end.

We get the error message (in console):

Use //# instead[Learn More] jquery-1.9.0.min.js:4 “Google Maps JavaScript API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#api-not-activated-map-error" js:39:424 Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Yes, you can send admin access, take note if your support has expired, you will need to renew it in order for our support team to open a ticket.

Hi,

Just recently when a store location is clicked on in our site, the tool does not display the close up map of the store but instead shows a general zoomed in location of the map. Sometimes all you see is water.

In the bottom corner of the map I also the message. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If, yes have you been able to trouble shoot it?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, yes this happen due to Google Maps updates recently, you can refer to the resolution available in this forum post here http://superstorefinder.net/support/forums/topic/marker-centralize-zoom-issue-fixed-updating-infobox-packed-js/

Also, ensure that you’ve created a new Google API key for the new Google Maps Platform, more details available in this knowledge base article here http://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/google-maps-api-keys-usage-and-limits/

Hi, as with others, the map on my clients website has stopped working.

I’m using quite an old version of Store Locator and there’s nowhere to add my Google API in admin (I guess this wasn’t an option in older versions?).

If I renew support is this something you can help me with? I’ll of course pay for any further customisation if needed.

great, I’ll send you a message now…

Sure, ensure that you renew your support license and our support team will usually respond within one business day.

Great, i’ve just renewed my support licence

Hi there, I updated to the latest version because of the Google Api Issue and now the map will not load? http://exercisewithbaby.co.uk/venues/

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, we tested the link and it seems that the store locator is loading fine at that page. You can refer to this article on how to create Google API key for the new Google Maps Platform – https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/google-maps-api-keys-usage-and-limits/

Hi! i purchased the Super Store Finder and the Super Store Finder – Exact Geo Location Add-on. And my question is…..Why theses files ( index.php, embed.php and super-store-finder-mobile.js in js folder, in the super store finder are exactly the same… code by code, line by line with the index.php, embed.php, and super-store-finder-mobile.js in the Super Store Finder – Exact Geo Location Add-on).

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, we’ve just checked with our devs team, you can use http://text-compare.com and check there are differences in the files stated above.

Does the Super Store Finder require the Geo Coding API activation with a google api key? I get the error message: js?key=AIzaSyCb-MRL1_f-Qki8O0-MPp7hm7mfyUb50xM&libraries=geometry,places:51 Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API.

It seems the Admin and the Front end both require Geo Coding API activation and Distance Matrix Service. Is there way to show the map and locations without these?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can try to create a new Google API key and skip step 6 onwards from this article here https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/google-maps-api-keys-usage-and-limits/

This is because based on the latest Google updates, geocoding will require a static server IP or without reference at all.

The off-the-shelf plugin is using these API services, if you wish to disable some of the API services, you can request our devs team to perform customization via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden

Based on Codecanyon support policy here, the off-the-shelf product features come as it is as per item description and live preview page, customization is not part of the support scope, however can be requested to our devs team if needed.

Hello again, is the plugin better than the php version? Does it require a separate Mysql? I’ve been testing the bulk uploader and there is an issue with the Geo code as the stores do not show up on the front end. Even with one store and using your csv sample. I have to click within the address and it then it poplulates the long and lat. I have a few thousand to import and this way would take too long. Also I ‘m looking to add categories with a subcategory. Ex: category: Friendship sub category: High School, Middle School, etc. Is this possible with your multi category add on? I want to also show am putline of a county radius, as seen on maptive. Is this possible? Plenty of pre sale questions, lol.

Hi there,

This comment section is referring to the standalone PHP version, if you’re referring to the WP version, it will be the same database as your WP plugin. For the geo code, try to press f12 on your browser console and look out for the errors that might appear. If you’re still facing an issue, kindly provide below details via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and we can open a ticket to get our tech team to have a closer look

1) url of store locator
2) link to screenshot / description of the issue
3) temporary WP admin access
4) temporary FTP access

The sub category feature is not available in the off-the-shelf plugin, this might be added in the upcoming patches, based on Codecanyon support policy here, the off-the-shelf product features come as it is as per item description and live preview page, customization is not part of the support scope, however can be requested to our devs team via the contact form here if needed.

Hi, I have a question regarding the search box widget. I read this article, http://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/how-to-pass-search-parameter-to-iframe/ and this article, https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/can-i-use-search-box-widget-to-point-to-my-store-locator/ But I still don’t understand how I can use the widget. I installed the script under www.example.com/location-finder/ and I use iframe, so the actual URL is www.example.com/location-finder.html

And I tried to figure out how I can bypass the parameter when using iframe, but I can’t. Can you be more specific, please? For example, which URL should be put under <form action=”THIS URL”> And should I use searchwidget.html with an iframe as well?

Thank you in advance,

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, to pass a parameter in an iframe you can use the code below:

<iframe src="http://website.com/store-locator/mega-embed.php?boxsearch=<?php echo $_GET['boxsearch']; ?>" width="100%" height="1200px" scrolling="yes" frameborder=yes></iframe>

The additional code in the frame src attribute is basically:

?boxsearch=<?php echo $_GET['boxsearch']; ?>

If you’re facing issue, you can contact our support team via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and they should be able to assist you.

Hi there! The only way to show the map on the website is via iframe? How customizable is the layout?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can use the embed code to show the store locator in an iframe or use the store locator page itself which is coded in PHP / HTML. You can customize the layout using CSS. Alternatively, you can choose from available themes as below

1) https://codecanyon.net/item/mega-locator-theme-super-store-finder/11099221
2) https://codecanyon.net/item/compact-theme-super-store-finder/7154236
