We have replied to you multiple times and also sent you email about your issue. Our developer already told you in email conversation what the issue is. Your hosting has issues. Please fix it talking to support. Rotator app can’t establish connection with MongoDB database.
Also, please communicate with the developer through email like before. We can’t help you in comment section.

Will this script work on a server running CloudLinux v8.10.0 STANDARD kvm? Node.js is not an option in the CPanel but it was with the host you help me install the script originally.
I got it working now, but I still need at least instructions for resetting the password to the Admin.
You should really add a Forgot Password option to the script.

Unfortunately, it is not a WP plugin. Its a NodeJS app which needs a domain and hosting, specifically a Cpanel or Heroku based which supports NodeJS. These information are available in our product page.

Hello – I’m very interested in this.
I suppose this can be installed on one domain and used on another on the same server for personal use? I am just worried that if I enable node.js on a domain which uses Laravel I might mess the site up!
Also, I am using ispManager which does support node.js, so I am not worried about that and my port 27017 is open, so it should work I suppose, but the key question is, how fast is the script? From you experience are the redirects faster than php redirects? Please let me know! If I had access to install docs, I would be able to make up my mind!

Regarding your first query, we are actually not familiar with ISPManager hosting. We think its better if you ask your hosting’s support regarding this, whether you can use our product alongside your Laravel website.
Regarding your second query. Our script is fast which you can check in the demo provided. We have not done a benchmark test with PHP redirects but in most scenarios NodeJS apps are much faster than PHP. So this should be faster as well.
If you would like to check the docs, then we can send in your email but please note that the doc is separated in various sections. Installation section shows cPanel-based hosting only. So if you can check how to install it in ISPManager from their docs and follow the rest of our doc then it would be fine.

i have 2 questions :
1. Is it possible to add a parameter to the short URL that will be forwarded to the destination URL of the rotator?
For example, if the short URL is abc.com/7gsd, when I use abc.com/7gsd?name=mike, the destination URL will include the parameter ?name=mike.
2. Possible to add user or only for 1 user is admin.

I have interest with this product, but when I see the latest update is 2021, and when I tried to make a link from sample page, it show pop up and say “It is not secure. And vulnerable to both XSS and SQLi.”
So, is this an abandoned product?

About your second query, the issue is now fixed. Someone created a link with malicious url and that is why it was showing a browser alert. Please rest assured that the alert was not because of our product.

We are interested in an extended license to the URL Rotator. We wanted to know if MariaDB can be used as the database? Mongodb can NOT be installed on commercial servers using CPanel because of Mongodb’s licensing requirements.

Regarding your query, it is not possible to use MariaDB as database right now as it is, but it can to be modified.
Our app can be used with MongoDB Atlas which doesn’t need installation in the server. Only MongoDB port (27017) needs to be opened in the server and an account in MongoDB Atlas.

How much modification is required? While I know mysql/Mariadb I have never used Mongodb

Please note that our documentation only covers cPanel -based hosting providers. If your hosting provider is anything other than cPanel, please check before hand that it will support NodeJS apps. Also, please make sure that they will open MongoDB port 27017 for your server.
We have Plesk and cpanel servers. Plesk includes it as an install option & server extension, so no worries there thanks.
The docs are a bit vague on a couple of things -
1) How many websites can traffic be sent to from one rotator (mother) link by the admin user?
We(admin user) have up to 300 sites we need to send traffic to from a single source, but code seems to limit it to 100? (don’t care about other users being limited)
2) Does the app track visits so if a visitor uses the rotator link more than once, he gets sent back to the same website he was sent to the first time?
Pretty sure that is the last 2 questions we have.
Also, our server uses cPanel and CloudLinux’s NodeJS Selector – will that work withthe App?
1. This app does not have multiple user access. There is only one user who can log in and create links.It is created for personal use only. And we have capped it at 100 websites per rotator link. It is not possible to add more than 100 websites in a link. 2. Sorry no. It does not have that kind of tracking system. But it does tracks clicks, total visits, individual link visits. 3. We have tested the app in Cpanel, Heroku and Ubuntu-based VPS. It should work with any other servers where NodeJS app is supported including but not limited to CloudLinux’s NodeJS Selector.

Besides, if it is designed for personal use and only single user, an extended license would serve no purpose.
