Hi again, It wanted to say that in order to make it work on a wodpress site you have to install it manually. If you need a wordpress plugin you can have a look at the other tool.

REJECT has to be equal to: NO COOKIES If the website owner makes use of technical cookies only then, does not need any banner. For that matter, when is mentioned, ‘accept cookies’ means any other cookies than technical and/or statistic cookies. Although, statistic cookies may, in certain cases contain personal data. In that case, the ower has to beware of what kind of data grab from the ‘statistic cookies’.

A silly question, I’m afraid, but when the ‘Accept’ button is triggered the cookie works fine, but if the ‘Reject’ button is triggered set the cookie as well. Is there any possibility of the ‘Reject’ button when triggered DO nothing and close the pop window?

A qyick solution for you is to remove js-close class from the ‘Reject’ button. In this case the cookie message will be just hidden until next page reload.

Quick solution:
on load check if cookie are set, (if not show the pop window) button ‘Accept’ on trigged, ‘set cokkie’ button ‘Reject’ on triggred, ‘don’t set cookies’, just close the pop window, or redirect to a page in witch explain why do we need the cookie for instance, ‘Cookie Policy’.
Set or Do Not Set Cookies: Questions raised regarding the applicability of the law or EU directives are related to the fact that several European countries have distinct principles of proportionality and adaptability as a matter of compliance with the sovereignty of each country. At present, there is no consensus among all European countries, see Italy compared to France, or Germany to Greece, or Portugal to Italy, etc…

Close the banner yes but, see in the browser when you click on ‘accept’, cookie can be found. Now, Clear browser cookies, refresh the page and click ‘reject’ see what you have in the browser.

would you mind providing advice on the best way of adding your js + css to wordpress. I purchased the theme and wanted to add your code, so I’m considering two options:
1. by using “Simple Custom CSS and JS” plugin 2. by creating plugin which will include your code adapted to the plugin.
I know you have icookie for wordpress, but this one which I bought here I like most.
Obviously, I don’t want to lose cookie pop-ups during theme updates.
Would you mind pointing me in a good direction, please?

I think the correct way to do it in your case is to buy the extended licence and then you are free to use it and modify it the way you need.

We are under the impression it is a Wordpress Plugin is that correct?
The wordpress version of the Cookie Notice is comming very soon. At the end of this week or early next week.
This is a script which you have to install manually (for static websites), but you can add it to your wordpress website with ease.
You have to follow the steps:
- Connect scripts and styles
- Add the cookie bar html into your footer
- That’s it
