I’m experiencing two serious issues, which I believe are bugs rather than configuration problems. Could you help me resolve them?
From time to time, the plugin language switches to Danish (Denmark) on its own. Sometimes I log in and find it set to the wrong language.
An even more serious issue: when customers reply to the booking confirmation email, their replies don’t go to the customer’s email address but instead to the website administrator’s email address. How can I fix this?
Also, it switches to “Dansk” both on the main “Common settings” page, and in Advanced settings under Place information, where “Language for emails” changes to “Danish (Denmark)”.

Hi, as of today—almost 14 days later—this issue is still not resolved. It’s quite serious because customers keep replying to the booking confirmation email, and their messages are delivered to the website manager/admin email instead of the restaurant’s email address. This is an urgent bug, because it causes the restaurant to miss many important customer communications (questions, changes, special requests, etc.). Could you please provide a fix or a workaround as soon as possible?
Also, the “booking confirmed” email is being sent from an address outside the restaurant’s domain. In this case, the sender is no-reply@reservationdiary.eu, whereas it should ideally be an address belonging to the restaurant

“booking confirmed” – in settings please find SMTP settings and enter credentials there, then those settings will be used to send emails
Absolutely not true. I bought another plugin license a few days ago (“Version 25.0828”); emails are still always sent from the WordPress admin, not from the restaurant email set in the plugin. Also, as I told you, booking confirmations come from info@reservationdiary.eu

I’m using the latest version of the plugin (26.0.1) and I noticed several bugs related to languages, this time. Many texts are still in English on both the front-end and back-end even though the site is in Italian, and some strings do not appear in the translation files (e.g. in Loco Translate), so they cannot be translated manually (the new option for modify the reservation).
In loco translate you need to click “Refresh”, then it should pick new translation strings. Please send you language findings to info@reservationdiary.eu we will help you to resolve.

Yes, you just add a shortcode to any page you want it do display. Please note that only one shortcode will work on the page.

Hi, I’d like to set up my restaurant’s reservation system. I have 2 tables for 2, 7 tables for 4, 5 tables for 6, and 2 VIP tables for 10. Customers can book and pay a minimum of €10 per person using Stripe during three time slots: 5 PM to 6:30 PM, 6:30 PM to 8 PM, and 8 PM to 10:30 PM. I also need backend admin access for bookings.
Is it possible for you to show me a working demo of both the frontend and backend via a link? I tried your backend but couldn’t see the frontend after configuration. Furthermore, everything deleted after a few minutes, preventing me from running simulations.

Hi, I need some clarification about your plugin. Below are my client’s specific needs, and I would appreciate it if you could confirm whether these features are available: 1. The option to hide the table layout from being visible. 2. The ability to manage bookings in multiple languages, i.e., sending rejection or acceptance messages in different languages. 3. The ability to send an email to the customer either before confirming/cancelling the booking or after confirmations. 4. Automatically blocking bookings on specific dates when the venue is fully booked. 5. The option to add specific requirements, such as indicating the number of vegans, children, etc. 6. The ability to apply a fee when booking a table for more than 6 people. If so, what payment methods are available? 7. Are there annual fees to maintain plugin?

1. Plugin does not have table layout, it only allows to define tables and their capacity, to instantly check if reservation can be made. 2. Yes, here are about 20 languages supported (Italian supported). If language is not presented, it can be added with help of translation plugins and we can help with that. 3. Yes, in manual reservation mode, system sends email saying to wait for reservation confirmation. If rejected or confirmed, another email is sent. 4. Yes 5. Yes, by adding custom fields, you can collect extra information from the guests 6. Yes, but it’s not in the package. Extra addon must be purchased to accept pre-payments. Addon connects to WooCommerce, and payment method are all possible payments that WooCommerce offers. PayPal, Stripe, Credit Cards… 7. No fees, it’s a onetime payment.

One question on point 6: where do I buy the addon? Is there an option to set it to only request payment after a certain number of seats have been exceeded (e.g. over 5 booked seats).

Hi, there is currently only one short code, that opens reservation form with a link to cancel the reservation. You can include the link to the reservation form, where user can click on cancel link. What can be improved, that cancel form will be prefilled with client information when link is clicked.
Can’t you create a shortcode where I can lead the guest directly to a “change reservation” or “cancel reservation”. It would change the guest’s process extremely positively.

The language changes by itself and I can’t set it to Italian. I always set it to the first Dansk entry. My Italian customers receive emails in Dansk and I don’t know how to solve the problem.

In 10 days the restaurant … will close for lunch (it was open before) due to the new summer opening hours. How can I close/change hours from a specific day onwards?
Hi, Try this approach: Use blocked time for that specific part of the day. When period of summer opening time starts, then you can already update open times, and create 2 sets.

How does it work if I have two restaurants and only one website? I would like to manage reservations for the two restaurants from a single site. Maybe with the possibility of choice.
Currently this version of the plugin is for 1 restaurant. I can make some adjustments for you, but you would need to buy another license for 2 restaurant.

There is no selector of restaurant on the plugin itself, you can add a page with 2 buttons: reservation for restaurant 1 and reservation for restaurant 2. How do I set it to be open every day except Tuesday for lunch? It seems simple but I don’t understand it even reading the guide. The other days I open at 1pm, close at 3pm and reopen for dinner at 8pm and close at 11pm. How do I set this range?
