We recently purchased your plugins Progress Map and Markets Filter from CodeCanyon. We are trying to replicate the setup shown here: Filter posts by one category term – https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/faceted-search/filter-posts-by-one-category-term/

However, instead of displaying blog posts, we would like the map pins and the carousel items below to display Portfolio Projects. We also need the project details to load when clicking the pin pop-up.

Could you please guide us on how to configure the plugins to support Projects instead of standard posts?

In the content of the post we put again a map to show the location but if i click on the icon in the map, a new lihtbox opens over the first one. Is there a way to deactivate the link on the icon to prevent the lightbox to open ?

I need to start a new thread with you about a new issue I have run into that I hope you can help with, and that I will bet you have come across by now.

So here is the situation…

In EVERY single site of mine that I have one of your amazing maps installed into, I am running into an odd issue with the media library.

When I upload new media to the site, it ALWAYS gets saved into the same older year/month folder within the uploads folder instead of the most recent year/month folder like it should.

I have checked this and found it to be the case on 100% of my sites that use this map, many using different themes and such – so they are all very unique from one another.

If I TRASH my map and then upload new media in the library, the media immediately starts getting saved into its proper current year/month folder.

Also, if I CHANGE the post date month or year of my map, and then upload new media to the library, it then starts to save the media in that newly assigned year/month of the map post. So I am 100% sure that my media is automatically getting uploaded to the wrong folder if I have a map installed.

Looking at this problem generically, this pertains to the WP function that uploads teh files. For some reason, the standard get_post(0) value you would expect in this situation is returning a value of $post_id = (map post id). So the map post id is acting as the “default” for all uploads rather than a null value for a post ID like it should.

It is actually not wise to allow all media to collect in one giant folder over time, but more importantly, this happens to conflict with important programming that for some media is expecting media to be in the “most recent” folder rather than a static older folder.

Have you encountered this and can you help me out here? I would REALLY appreciate it my friend.

Is there a way to filter just the current map space? For example, I zoom in to a country to view the various map pins but then when I try to apply a filter, the filter just zooms back out to the entire map space.

I installed plugin, in documentation it is said – Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”, scroll down and click on the menu “Markers filter Settings”. But i do not have that option. Map – Version 5.7.3 Markers filters – Version 1.2

Hi! Is it possible to not zoom the map after filtering the objects? Or at least change the zoom level.

The problem is that i have positioned the filter box on the right side of the map, but after the filtering some of the objects hide behind the filter box and are not visible to user.

The zoom level is to large.

Hi, I just purchased markers filters extension. I tried to build a map with different filters using taxonomies but i would like to add a specific selection of it for each filter. For the moment i just succeed to get them all for one filter. I there a way to do it ?

I also tried to add custom fields but i can’t see in the posts where i can see the custom fields properties or placeholders.

Hi, I just bought the plugin, Is it possible to control the marker-filters position on the mobile map? On mobile versions the filters box cover the button to hide the filters itself. Is it possible to show the filters outside the map? Is there a way to show the carousel in mobile mode?

Hi, I have maps displaying a ton of pages matching a single tag, additionally I use a filter-box on the categories. Because of the query there are no pages for some categories. These empty categories still show in the filter. Is there a way to hide empty filter options? (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/1wr4ajg)

Additionally, the count number shows all pages in that category, rather than the number of pages in the category based on the tag query. I would like to change this as well, if possible?
