Yes, it can transfer custom post type to another custom post type.

Is your plugin up to date for latest wordpress 6.1.1? does it work with php8 ?

• Transfer custom type post to regular post – Yes, any post type

• Transfer the tags that are in the custom post – Yes, any category or tags

• During transfer, select the regular category that it will go to – Yes, you can transfer regular category with post

• Do mass bulk transfer with the options as above – No

• One last question. Would you be able to provide guidance on how to create an .htaccess rule for 301 redirection for this process? - The plugin does not provide 301 redirection. You can use any another plugin for 301 redirections.

• Compatible with 6.1.1 – Yes

• Compatible 8.0 – No, Right now it Compatible PHP < 7.4

The plugin will move the CPT as well as taxonomy, it will not copy.

@jizyjizy Make sure that you have selected ‘Not Required’ in the ‘Taxonomy’ settings from the ‘Post Type Transfer Pro’ page under the ‘Settings’.

I tried everything. When i select post type, which one do i select, the one i am trasferring? I need ‘job listing’ to ‘jobs’ post type and job categories to sectors, job regions to locations and ‘job types’ to ‘job types’ taxonomies etc. If u can do that please ask me for credentials and do that for me. If not please refund me.
