Can this plugin be used for hotlink image?

Hello, is there any issue with this plugin right now? I have seen a few pins on Pinterest which Link does not goes to the original post, it went to i,pinimg,com site.

All photos it takes from the article but don’t add its link in Pin Title or in image on Pinterest. If someone clicks on an image it goes to direct on the image at i,pinimg,com not to the original Source Article.

Can you please tell me what is the problem or how to solve it?

EDIT: It is not possible to edit every pin on Pinterest to add the source article link. Is it not possible to do it automatically? because right now, it is adding a link in pins at Pinterest something link https://i.pinimg.com/originals/6c/8b/4xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxfd.jpg

I’ve set the links to point to a fixed link, then I tried just linking to the post, but both don’t seem to work. The pin will just link to the image hosted on Pinterest and put the URL in the Pin description, which is not clickable. Is there a fix for this?
