I’ve upgraded Wordpress to 5.x / Gutenberg, and it seems that with AOP activated the editor is extremely slow now. If I deactivate AOP, the editor goes back to performing as expected.
Are you planning on optimizing the plugin for Gutenberg? If not, I may have to pull the plug or revert back to 4.x

FYI, I rolled back to WP version 4.9.5 (non-Gutenberg), and it is still happening. Also, as a test, I installed a clean version of Wordpress and installed AOP as the only plugin, and the delay is happening there as well.
I turned on debugging in wp-config to generate a log file, and do get some notifications when AOP is activated: “The called constructor method for WP_Widget in ad_flickr is deprecated since version 4.3.0!”. There are some other messages as well.
When I deactivate the plugin, these messages are no longer generated.
I don’t know if this has always been happening or not, but is probably worth looking into.

I’ve been using your product for several years, and it has mostly done what I need it to do. I recently upgraded to WP 4.9.5, and later had to reinstall AOP. And suddenly, the buttons for adding/removing logo and background images are missing. Completely not there. So I have no way to add background images to new sections.
The images that have already been assigned to various sections still work, but I couldn’t remove them/change them if I wanted to, because the button isn’t there.
Any ideas? Thanks!!

A few things:
1. I did a clean WordPress install on a and then installed AOP, and yes, it works as expected.
2. I removed all of the plugins on my existing site, re-installed AOP, and still does not show the buttons.
3. I created a new database and pointed my existing site to it, and AOP works as expected, buttons are visible.
So, there is something in the existing database that is causing this failure. I removed tables that had persisted after removing other plugins (the ones for my Slider Revolution install), and that did not work.
Finally, I have purchased an additional license, which I believe also includes 6 months of support . . . I’ll open a ticket as soon as I can, but if you could look into this in the meantime, I’d really appreciate it.

Hi, I have the same issue BoOm reported 3 years ago/ For some reason when this plugin is activated, It makes the text and typing areas of the Contact 7 form, white (maybe transparent). I also have a white site and I can still select everything so it is still there on the page. The text, email, part is white on white while the “Message” part is black on white (the way it’s supposed to be)
BoOm said that he found a conflict in the shortcodes.css file but didn’t specify how he was able to fix the issue. Can you please help?

Hello. I have a site that was automatically updgraded to Wordpress 4.7.x and it seems that the feature that allowed the menu item for the selected block to appear with a “selected” style no longer works. In other words, regardless of what block is selected, the menu item appears in its default, unselected state.
I have verified this because the version on my localhost works properly, whereas the version on my live server no longer shows the selected state for the menu item.
Do you have a patch for this, or maybe can point to the file in which I can make changes? I’m comfortable editing JavaScript, etc., so that would be fine with me.

Yes, that’s what I meant . . . the menu items aren’t highlighting onclick or when you scroll into a section. I think you understood just fine! 
Also, I’ve been able to determine that this is happening in 4.6 as well. I have an old local build with 4.1 that is working fine, so the issue seems to have come up between those two versions.

replace with:
.end().filter(“a[href*=’#”id”’]”).parent().addClass(“active”);

Yes, that did it! Last night I realized there was a problem with the quotation marks and changed them—that got rid of the console errors, but the highlighting was still not working. I guess it all came down to the a[href*, amazing.

Hello – a quick update/piece of info: I just upgraded Wordpress to 4.8, and this broke again. I removed the “a” and the ”*”, basically putting it back to what it was before, EXCEPT I did keep the additional single-quotes placed just before the opening and closing square brackets, which actually corrected an error in the shipped frontend.js file. And it works now in WP 4.8. So, whatever caused it to break in 4.6, the WP guys apparently took care of in 4.8 (or 4.7, I never did upgrade to that version). Full line of working code here:

Meaning whether I use your plugin or installed SEO yoast, there wont be any difference between SEO, since it’s just 1 page, and that I wont get a high ranking in Google.
