The image optimizer feature requires specific server binaries to be installed. If these binaries are missing, the optimizer will not work when uploading images from the Admin and Customer dashboard.

- If you are using shared hosting, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to install the required binaries for you.
- If you are using a VPS or dedicated server, you can install the binaries yourself using SSH or terminal access.

License Types
Regular License: You can use the script for your own project, but you cannot charge end users for access.
Extended License: Required if you plan to offer Optimer as a SaaS platform and charge your users.
API Requirement
No external third-party API is required to run the system. The script is fully self-contained.
An internal REST API is available (under the Extended License) if you want to integrate Optimer with other apps or services.
Hosting
Optimer can be installed on shared hosting, but we recommend using a VPS (2 CPU, 2GB RAM, PHP 8.2+) for better performance, especially if you expect higher traffic or plan to run it as SaaS.
Please note, some binaries need to be installed on your server to optimize images properly.

It works on Hostinger shared hosting as well, as long as the required PHP extensions are enabled on the server.

v2.0.0 is supported by the built-in software updater. Once you’ve installed it, you can log in to the admin panel and update the script to version 2.0.0 directly via the software updater.

It is not possible to optimize images url wise. You can only upload images in the current version.

You don’t need to pay any third party provider for image optimization in Optimer. And now you have access to all API and payment methods in the regular license.
