how to enable horizontal view. Also the layout is not working with journal3 properly. Also, if I delete a product, it still appears in the result without image and price as 9 and no name and no id too. Can you please help.
You know how to activate layout in journal theme ? kindly check carefully journal documentation if you try from opencart layout it will not work thanks

I purchased this module and followed the instructions as listed. Upload the admin and catalog folder as indicted and have set the necessary permissions but there’s no way of accessing the modules menu to upload/import data. Nothing changes in the product settings. Emailed the developer multiple times but got no response after the first reply asking for FTP access. I’m setting this up locally first before I upload my OpenCart on the net. So of course I have no way of giving up FTP access or admin access since it’s local.

Buyers beware, DOES NOT include files for older versions below 3.0.X of Open Cart . He will keep asking you for ftp access to modify his own files on your server. You’ll have NO way to reinstall without contacting him.
we have ocmod and vqmod both file if u cannot install it that is your fault i have told you many times send me access, if not work refund your money back thanks, now choice is yours don’t try to force your issue to other persons.
Hello. We bought the “Opencart Vehicle Parts Finder – Make/Model/Year” opencart module about a week ago. We use opencart 3.0.3.6 with the journal theme. We installed module (apf.ocmod.zip) via opencart module installer. We pasted folders from AFTER_INSTALL_PASTE_ROOT in our website root directory. We activated the plugin in the module list. The problem is: We can not see permission options to allow make/make , model/model, year/year, mmyimport/mmyimport for both section Access Permission and Modify Permission. Se we can not set make model year and assing it with any product from product entry page. Any ideas about fixing the problem ?

Don’t ask for customisation. Most probably you will only pay for it but want get it. I made payment and now I wait to get money back from PayPal. There is no feedback will he make it or not. Agreed 3 days for custom work and after 30 days still no Alpha version of customisation…

which controller is used to output results for makemodel search? i’ve changed all product controllers and still no sort by name.
rest of the site shows by name, only makemodel search is acting funny.

The plug-in is good, but it takes up too much memory on the server, and have only three levels of retrieval. I hope it can be improved.

Check from your pc may be you are checking from mobile becz opencart default theme have left sidebar mobile issue thanks.
The big missing of that module is ENGINE filter. In fact you can’t search for a car part without engine. Each car models have different engines.
I really don’d know why all developers of this kind of module get stuck on year.

If you want to keep simple make it MME – Make / Model (year to year) / Engine Better to filter and better to manage the items.
The filter should nest like this:
Make : AUDI for example Model : A6 2002-2006 (and here we can use specific model and years version, facelift) Engine : 2.0 Turbo diesel etc.
