Thanks ☺️

Congrats on rolling out NodeChat! Secure, modern, and offline‑ready—an impressive achievement. Wishing you all the best

Thank you so much! It’s great to hear that. We’re always working to improve and appreciate your feedback.

Great script! How can it be used if uploaded to a VPS? can it be integrated into a website where people can use this as a normal chatroom where they can see a list of users in the room and private chat or public chat? or does it need special changes to be done?

Thank you for your interest! This item is designed primarily as a cross-platform desktop application built with Electron.js + React + Node.js, intended for office and internal team communication, where users download and install the app on Windows, macOS, or Linux.

The Node.js backend can be hosted on a VPS, but using it directly as a traditional browser-based website chatroom would require some frontend adjustments, as the current UI and flow are optimized for a desktop app experience.

That said, the project has a modular architecture, so developers can extend it further—such as adding web support, public/private rooms, or advanced user management—based on their requirements.

It works great out of the box as a secure internal messenger, and also serves as a solid foundation for customization or future expansion.
