This plugin is just a jQuery plugin for standalone websites, it’s not a WordPress plugin so it’s not compatible with WordPress website.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any WordPress plugin that suits your needs now.

Are you trying to load a php file by AJAX method?

At default, the plugin will load the “ajaxstation.php” file. So you can add your content to this file and use “if.. else…” statement to control the content.

However, if you want to load a new php file you can do it by providing an html param “data-ext” for a button to set a file extension (i.e: php, html, ...).

Example: If you want to load “your-own-file.php” file, you can place it in “content/mdstart/” folder. Then create a button in a listview section:

  <span class="mdstart-itemicon"><img src="icon-path" alt="" /></span>
  <span class="mdstart-itemtitle">Load your-own-file</span>

When the button is clicked "your-own-file.php" content will be loaded.

I think you did not open the demo in a web server. The AJAX feature just works on web servers. You can try to upload the source code on a web hosting/server and open again.
