Hola, sí puedes instalarlo en wordpress. Añades los estilos y scripts desde el functions y debería funcionarte sin problemas. Yo lo he hecho en más de una ocasión

The script allows you to add the main image (the one that the user sees) and the secondary one that is displayed when you pass the mouse over it (gif, png, jpg).
It is very simple to configure.
