Hello – Thank you for this awesome little module. It does exactly what I want.
2 small questions:
1) Can i integrate the predefined Image Styles I have already established in Drupal, or do I need to normalize all my logo files before adding them?
2) How can I re-order the logos, once uploaded? For instance I have a 4 column grid, and i want to swap the first and third logos….

Hi, I can get the grid layouts to appear fine but i can’t get the horizontal carousel to appear at all. I’m running Drupal 7.52 and i have jquery 1.10.2 and bxslider library 4.1.2 installed. I run the status report and no issues. Any idea of what the problem could be? Thanks in advance!

Could you please provide more information about the issue you have, i.e. what exactly happens, is there any error displayed instead of logos, does the problem exist on clean environment…?
Hi, the carousel does not display at all when in horizontal carousel mode (but grids display fine). There are no errors displayed. OK, i have tried on a clean install of drupal and it works. Maybe i have some sort of javascript conflict?
Please try with enabling additional modules (and theme!) one by one in order to find the one that causes the issue. You should also update bxSlider to v4.2.3 (provided with the module) instead of v4.1.2 which is currently used in your site.
Hi, where do I get the 4.2.3 version? everywhere i check only has 4.1.2 such as here http://bxslider.com/ or here: https://www.drupal.org/project/bxslider
I think it’s the theme. I tried adding the js-based modules into the clean install and worked fine but once i switched the theme on my existing site to one of the default themes it worked. Any ideas about where to go from here? thanks in advance!

Look in the libraries folder provided with the module; there you should find bxSlider library we’re using on our demo site, too.
Regarding the theme causing the issue, we also think it’s the real root of the problem. After analyzing the HTML code of your site it seems that, from some strange reason, the theme overrides default logic and loads jQuery library too late in the page; so that’s why bxSlider is not initialized and probably many other scripts that require jQuery.
I am having an issues with the Logo showcase. If you go to my site https://sccupdate.ijis.org you can see the logo slider at the top of the page. there is such a large gap between logos that It is not useful for me. I am not sure how to fix this can you please help resolve this or tell me how to resolve it. I have also tried to uninstall plugin and reinstall but that did not help.

Hi,
You can configure thumbnail width in ‘Thumbnails Options’ section of the slider. So, for example, if the slide images are 150px wide, try with thumbnail width 160px or similar. Play a little bit with different options and find one that looks the best for you.

Also, have you tried the module on the clean Drupal installation? We tested the module and everything works fine on our side.

I have gone through your documentation for the logo showcase and the carousel feature isn’t working.
It says the bxslider libary cannot be found yet I can see it clearly within the folder.

is there a way to link a photo to an external link? In views, you can create a grid and link the photo to the url. if this is the case it will be perfect!

Yes, photos can be linked to external urls as you can see in a demo page: http://www.templago.com/demo/d7/logosshowcase/node/2 , in section Responsive Grid (4 columns)(image with link). You can even choose whether links should be opened in a new window or not, set “follow” or “no-follow” attributes etc.

Could you provide more information about your environment, are you using core theme, are there other 3rd party modules activated, did you get this error on clean environment…?

As I can see in your site’s report page, you didn’t follow the installation and requirements procedure described in the documentation. Namely, Logos Showcase needs bxSlider to be properly installed so copy it into the libraries folder first (all requirements are distributed with the module itself).
Also, there are a lot of javascript errors on the site’s pages so I’m not sure whether this affect bxSlider.
Please follow the documentation for detailed installation instructions and requirements.
Is there a way to make it follow a link? I want to use my sponsor’s logos, so that when I click on the logo it will take them to my sponsor’s website
