You can click on image in order to replace it, a better imsge replace system will be added in the next update, if the image is background imsge then you have to view source code in order to replace url.
I have clicked on image to replace in your demo, but it asks for the image url… So I guess theres no ‘upload’ feature yet. Is that correct ? Thanks for letting me know.

Welcome, Sorry you can’t do self hosted uploads in the Email templates, since its Email template so image has to be hosted somewhere, because when you will send the Email this isn’t possible to send self hosted image along 
Hmm… There are other mail builders on which you can upload images and those images are saved in server. Then, as the images are referenced in the email’s html , all appear perfectly fine in the sent email. You should improve those functionnalities
