Forgive me for not knowing this but can this be easily added to ANY html file (with proper coding on my behalf, of course).

Is there a way to filter the categories by calling a specific link?

E.g. Have a menu deeper in the site with a text link that would be similar to something like an anchor tag, ”/index.html#books”? When clicked, that link would bounce you back to the index page, showing the pre-filtered category?

- When you says, no compatibility with IE 8 , 9, it’s only animation but it works correctly (but without animations…) ?

I thing with a good layer, you can sell it more expansive, there is no template sortable with only html (all are with wordpress)...
