Hello, we purchased your module and are testing a 3D model.
We have two problems:
1. It doesn’t display in iPhone browsers. Neither Safari nor Chrome.
2. For it to display properly, we would need to be able to configure more lighting points.
Is there a solution for these two issues? Especially for point 1.
Otherwise, your module won’t work for us, and we would like a refund.

Hi! 1. The module works on mobile browsers like Safari/Chrome. You can check the demos at https://hyper.ac/3d/ It could be a conflict with your website or integration. 2. The wordpress version only supports the three builtin light types and the environment map. Good luck!
I’ve requested a refund because with that single lighting, this plugin doesn’t work for me. And it also produces very strange glows when rotating the object. My object has glow layers, and it doesn’t display correctly. Thanks for your help anyway. I’m considering trying the other JavaScript plugin. That’s why I’ve requested a refund for this one.

Hi, the loading time depends on the filesize and connection speed. Your sample file is about 100 MB, so it will take a long time to load. I recommend to keep filesizes below 10 MB. Good luck!
How long will it be? I try https://3dviewer.net/ and it takes only 5 seconds to load the file.
If you load the data locally (using a data URI or blob/object URL) and not upload/download it to a server, it should only take a few seconds. You would have to try it out for yourself, you can purchase and test Hyper 3D without risk. If Hyper 3D does not work for you or you don’t like it, you will of course receive a full refund. Hello I just purchases this plugin. All of the GLB models I import are too high in the viewer despite adjusting the Y camera to its max value. How do we fix this?
Hi, you need to edit the model with 3D software (e.g. Blender) and move the geometry towards the origin of the world (the position 0, 0, 0). Good luck!

Thank you! I would recommend to reduce the file size, e.g. by reducing the polygon count or using the GLB (binary GLTF) format.
If the file is still very large, you could use a placeholder file in Wordpress. You can upload the final file via FTP and replace the placeholder.
Please also see the tips in the documentation under “Layout Shifts and Flashing” to show a text or animation during loading.

We are looking for a solution to show .glb 3d objects in our site with a dynamic externa link. We need something like a shortcode which allows to display any .glb object as external link. For example: [shortcode]www.google.com/figure.glb[/shortcode]. Is it posible to do that? We can’t upload the .glb because it would come from an external site and it always be different depending on the generated link.

All assets can be uploaded at the same time as your model (or before), using the same upload field.

yesterday i have purchased our item HYPER 3D – Model and Panorama Viewer for Wordpress.
The installation was also successful. I was also able to upload an .obj file. Unfortunately, this went but only without texture (.mtl file). The texture and the model have both uploaded. How do I get the link between model and texture?

Hello Leon,
the .obj file contains the filename of the .mtl file, in most cases it is the same name with the .mtl extension.
.mtl files store material properties, not texture/image, so you also need a .jpg or .png file.
Please make sure all filenames are web safe (a-z 0-9 -_), with no spaces, so WordPress doesn’t change the filenames when uploading!
If you don’t get an error message (file not found), you may need to try different export settings in your 3D application. Make sure all assets are exported and referenced in the .obj and .mtl files. To verify this, you can open these files in a text editor and search for the asset filenames.

Do you have a demo version I can use to ensure the plugin does not conflict with our website setup? We have tried a few 3d model plugins but some broke our woocommerce product pages completely.
Do you also provide a zoom with mouse wheel as I do not find an example of such a feature on your demos.
Hi, it is unlikely that there is a conflict with another plugin. There is no demo version but you purchase without risk, as you get a full refund if it’s not working for your or if you are not satisfied!

Hi, your .obj file needs the associated .mtl file “Apollo.mtl”. Have you uploaded it? Is it accessable if you open the URL in your browser? Do you use plugins for file management or caching? Good luck!

Hi! Your .obj file refers to the .mtl file as “Gancho Novo Al.mtl” but it should be “Gancho-Novo-Al.mtl” becaue WordPress replaces spaces and special characters of uploaded files. Good luck!
