Which files are supposed to be in Universal Video Player plugin folder?
What I mean is that in the downloadable file, there are so many nested folders called “universal video player”, I am confused as to what I should upload when updating the manual. Could you either tell me the exact files and folders or show a screenshot? Thanks

Okay, so instead of updating the files manually, I should delete the plugin and just install the new zip file, right?
To update the plugin do the following:
1. Deactivate the plugin
2. Unzip ‘universal_video_player.zip’ and using a FTP account, overwrite ‘universal_video_player’ folder on your server, in ‘wp-content\plugins\’
3. Activate the plugin

Using phpMyAdmin you can export (and then import) the table for the player you want to use.
The table for ‘Universal Video Player’ playlist is ‘wp_universal_video_player_playlist’.

I exported the table using MyPhpAdmin. Then, to import I used the plugin WordPress CSV to Database. When I clicked Import, I got an error message that the number of columns in the csv file (1) does not match the # of columns in the table I wish to import to (11). Why isn’t the CSV separating the columns? Thanks
You should export & import the database tables with phpMyAdmin and export as.sql gzip not as .csv

Yes, the exact same table does exist, but different playlists. Both tables did have some of the same playerid. I was concerned what would happen in a data marge, so in MyPHPAdmin I changed the playerid value in settings, playlist and player ID of the table being imported into to values that don’t exist in the exporting table.
You should rename the existing tables (to have a back-up) and import the new tables
