Will your range slider work with this addon? https://docs.gravityforms.com/category/add-ons-gravity-forms/survey-add-on/
Hii, the Range Slider should not conflict with the Survey Addon.
Hi, we’d purchased this plugin and have a question on the use of conditional logic. We have several sliders set up in our form and based on the MIN value selected by the user, we want to hide/show subsequent fields. We’ve tried this but some how the subsequent field doesn’t appear even though the conditions are correct. Also, we observed that setting a post fix character (e.g. %) affects the conditional logic for the subsequent field.
Hii, development of this plugin is currently on hiatus and, as per the Support setting on this plugin, we do not currently provide support for it.
Hi, when I use two forms on the same page, the slider dissapears on the second form? Does this plugin allow two forms on the same page or do you know of any conflict with other plugins? Thanks
Hii, we are not aware of any conflict that would prevent the slider from working on more than one form on a page. We recommend following the standard WordPress troubleshooting steps: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-to-troubleshooting-wordpress-errors-step-by-step/
I’m interested in this product but am concerned that “Not included:hiilite does not support this item”. Who does and how am I guaranteed assistance with the product?
While we no longer officially provide support for the plugin, if a purchaser encounters a bug or error we will do your best to assist them. However, response times are dependant on our teams current capacity.
Hello, pre sale… can the slider be styled like this? https://ibb.co/2dg3n7t showing the values below?
Thank you for your inquiry. That option isn’t currently available.
Hi, is this plugin auto-updated in WP dashboard?
I was wondering if there is any way to have this feature in gravity forms. We are not interested in the bottom part inventory.
We are interested in the top section. The Filter section to add this in a GF. Is it possible to get this done?
Hii, unfortunately we do not do custom development requests for this plugin. I would recommend reaching out to a freelance developer or agency if you are interested in adding custom features.
Good luck with your sales
Same pre-sales question as Keesjan123—is the plugin working with GF 2.5 and if not, are there plans to update it?
Hii trimergence!
The plugin is working well with GF 2.5, we don’t have any updates for this plugin on our roadmap currently, but we will continue to support it.
Cheers, —Damien Stewart
Hi Damien,
I just purchased and installed, and am having some difficulty…
I’m trying to do a range slider going from -5 to 5, step =1 descriptions for start and end values are “Very negative” to “Very positive”
The slider just says “false” and won’t ‘slide’—I wondered if it doesn’t like the negative starting value, so to test I changed the values to 0 to 5… still says “false”
Any ideas what I should try?
I think I figured it out… it doesn’t like the text as the descriptive terms… when I changed those from “very negative” and “very positive” to “-5” and “5” then it appears to work.
So, I’m not sure what the descriptive terms are meant for in the Range Defaults “value relations”
The Range Defaults are where you want the handles to be shown when the form loads, so if you have values between 1 and 100 the start and end values have to be within that range, if you input ‘20’ and ‘80’ for example, the left slider handle will load at the value ‘20’ and right slider handle will load at ‘80’
Ah, got it… that makes complete sense! Thanks!
One more question
I plan to use the slider 10 times in the form along with other questions, only the first 5 “sets” of questions + slider will show upon loading the page, then there’s a question “Would you like to add a 6th entry?” which will display the next set of fields + slider that are set to display conditionally when that question is answered “yes”...
The other fields are showing up when the question is answered “yes” but the range slider is not.
I checked the inspector and can see that the slider element is still showing “display:none;” even though the condition that should have caused it to be displayed is definitely met.
Any ideas?
pre-sales Q: is your slider capably of using EU style decimal spertors for Euro and then also in calculations?
In the Gravity Form system settings, I have set currency to €. this means the decimal is uses like on https://www.smartickmethod.com/blog/math/learning-resources/decimal-separators/ so far so good: “2 euro, 52 cents” is shown like €2,52 But can your slider only not only show numbers in the us/uk format with dots as fractional Seperator, in my example: €2.52. or comma like €2,52 but also use it in the calculation fields like 2,52 and use it in calculation as 2 euro and 52 cents instead of not seeing the comma and use it in calculations like euro 252?
pre-sales Q: is the plugin working with gravity form 2.5?
Seem there is no support.. didn’t see that earlier.
to bad!
Hii, while we don’t regularly provide support, we might be able to answer your question. Can you describe exactly what you are trying to get it to do?
I wanted to populate the sliders value in product quantity field. But I’ve purchased a other plugin and that works just fine. Support is key for me
always.
Fair enough, I will process your refund.
How can I use the slider value in product quantity field?
thank you
i have to use the range slider – single slider in 2 place in same page. but only one is showing like this
https://snipboard.io/qX2RVQ.jpgHii Manichework,
The plugin does not currently support currency abbreviations, however you could abbreviate the thousands as shown in your image with javascript. As for the second screenshot, could you turn on debug in wp-config.php and send a screenshot of the error you’re receiving?
Cheers, – DS
Does this plugin support number entry in a field + slider option? So the user either can enter the number by typing it, or if they want, use the slider?
Hii, number entry is not supported by the slider at this time.
Hello,
Is this plugin still being maintained/updated?
Thanks.
- Debbie
Hii Debbie, we don’t have any updates coming in the near future but the plugin is still functional with the latest versions of Gravity Forms and Wordpress. If something breaks with an update or there’s a conflict with GF or WP we will address it.
Hi, I have a pre-sales Q: can your plug-in coop with comma decimal separator as currency is used in most part of the world? See https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19455-01/806-0169/overview-9/index.html
Hii! Yes, you can use choose your thousand separator on the form field, you may use any character you choose.
Thanks. So showing the value succeeds as € 8,34 but is it used in the correct way in calculations? Example:{slider euro value: 3} * 2 = € 16,68 and not € 1668,- (because the comma is seen as dot)
can you please conform the internation comma decimal separator will work in calculations before I buy?
After a year of use I thought I made a great purchase. But I’m having problems when I want to set a negative value in the slider. If I set a negative range value, e.g. “-100”, the slider recognizes “100”. The negative value is not understood. Is there a solution?
Hii Francesco! Unfortunately the range slider does not currently support negative value and this is not something we are looking to add in the near future. Sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers! – Damien
I purchased this plugin and when I go to activate it, it says “Gravity Range Slider Fields has been deactivated, as it requires Gravity Forms v1.9 or greater.” . Please help as I cannot use it after spending $55!!!
Hii, what version of Gravity Forms are you currently using?
I’m looking to build a mortgage calculator. If I have two individual slider fields. One being “Home Value” which the user would enter the value of their home. The second slider being “Mortgage Balance”, can I connect the two sliders to limit the mortgage balance value maximum to be the value of the home?
For example, if the home value is $100,000, the user would only see a range of $0 to $100,000 for their mortgage balance input.
Is this possible?
Hii, this is not functionality that is currently built in to the Range Slider. You could, however, achieve something like this with additional javascript.
Can you recommend any sources where I can find the additional javascript to use to incorporate this?
Hii, the script itself should be fairly straightforward. You would need an listener or trigger to detect changes in the first slider and and then take the set value and apply it as the max value on the second one. If you are unfamiliar with working with javascript, we recommend hiring a developer to assit you.
Hello, I tried to use your method, however I’m having difficulty finding the id of the slider. When I play around with it in the inspector, it appears that the slider input type is text. May you please help.
