Hello It is not true, You pick completely different plugin with different name with different author. Just the internal slug is the same. Just please look to this plugin It was always has the same name and always was distributed only here on Codecanyon. So it is a plugin from different author from different market with different name. But we both choose the same slug photo-cotnest this is only what we share.
hello, I am confused about the way the categories work for this plugin as it seems to be backwards.. it does not work similar to categories of wordpress posts where you create categories and add a new post or in this case (competition) to a category . instead it seems to be in reverse of that. is it possible to change this so that it complies with wordpress category structure. the next issue is that the plugins are completely seperate , why dont they share categories since and function together? example the user gallery categories should populate to the recipes, photos and video categories so they share the same database table. additionally the user gallery will contain images from user uploading why cannot the user join photo competition by submitting existing photo from their gallery.. this also does not make sense how it user needs to upload addiontal images.. can you please streamline so they share data and media.. also why not add the videos in the same way so the user gallery can contain added videos and then the user can submit from their gallery. I am also not finding any integration with buddy press. when I visit user profile there is nothing there about competitions the user has entered and the default buddypress media links are still there so this will confuse admins and users who think they have uploaded media to their Gallery but in fact have not uploaded to your plugins gallery.. can you please help alleviate the confusion here since it said that it had full integration with buddy press but what I see is that each of the plugins is entirely stand alone and seperate so they really dont integrate. finally how do I show a page of contests? All I can find is each individual contest and widgets are specific to only one contest so they are inflexible for main front pages .. again if we could use categories as per normal wordpress way of working then the widgets could be more flexible. maybe I am not using the plugins as intended but I am struggling to make them flow and needfurhter advise on setting them up correctly to work with buddypress please.
also your demo site does not allow viewing user front end features only backend admin. it might help if we could import some demo data to get started with here
Hello. Yes categories works differently but in the next version i want to do complete redesing and categories will be integrated 100% into wordpress and even will be possible to do subcategories and subsubcategories. There is no demo for user front end features but basically it is only list of users items with options to edit those items. I will check that in the future and i will add option to see this at least in the screenshots.

Well so use all security features like Email vote confirmation and Email filter. If you will enable all security features it will be very hard to get even one vote more

Hello. 1) Yes. You can show just upload form. You can setup in your contest. 2) Yes you can do that in general settings.
hello, for legal reason I would like to avoid the “share this photo while it’s being approved” social network sharing bar (cannot remember the exact wording, but that’s the screen + social network bar that appears when someone submit a picture). People may share weird stuff and share a link to a photo when it will never be approved 
I don’t mind modifying the code (I already removed the share text mention, i Just want now to be able to remove the social network bar ONLY for this screen…so far I could not find how…

Hello. 1) it will be a problem with the spam filter. Please use any free SMTP plugin. 2) All users are logged in with original WordPress functions. So check your plugins if you have plugin for login/registration
I have a problem where more than one contest exists on the photo contest plugin.
Whether or not I enable the description field, if people do not leave one, or cannot, once the photo is approved and people go to share it, it searches the site and then places text for a dog and bone contest which was the other one, but the photos are from the name the cow promotion.
Ii I go back in and add a description, it is then ok. The problem comes in when people upload to get photo approved, they can share immediately but then they get text for a dog and bone photo contest.
It seems like a bug in the software when no description is entered by the person uploading a photo, then Facebook simply scans for content and is picking the wrong descriptions to use.
A fix for this, and possibly a useful tool regardless would be to have a default description field in contest setup so if people do not enter one, then software would automatically enter the default contest description. This would help promote the contest when people do not enter description, and would keep Facebook from picking the wrong text.
This way people who upload, can share right away and either get their description, or the contest default description entered into the contest setup. Right now they are wondering what the heck is wrong with the contest that it shows a dog and bone contest text instead of the cow text.
I checked out the Contest plugin and saw it was supported, then a link to a bundle, but it did not warn that the bundle was not supported. I would rather pay extra to upgrade all three plugins so I have support. I need help, and now no support. Please help me upgrade to supported versions.
The default description I am referring to would need to be able to be entered for every new contest, and not just a site wide description. This way when a variety of contests exist, they can all have default text go into each photo that has no description entered by the contestant.
If the above 2 comments may take some time to fix, a short term solution would be to make the description field required. If you know where/how to accomplish this, let me know and I will ftp into the addon code and insert/delete as required to accomplish this for a short term fix while the Contest is active. If this can be accomplished by having a description required via wordpress, please let me know where as I may be missing the obvious. Hello. It is not a bug. But it make sense do some overall description for the contest. Facebook takes information from the page if any other text is set in the open meta tag. I will add to may ToDo list
Ok, Thank You. Using your reply I did find where this text is located for the Meta Description. I will now have to insert some kind of general text that could apply to all Contests, so it does not confuse anyone.
Not thinking, when I first setup the WordPress site, I knew what the first Contest would be, and used this for meta description which is actually wrong for the site in general.
I do agree it would be a good thing to have a description field for each individual Contest so there can be a current and applicable description for each individual Contest if the user does not insert any description. Kind of like a backup description that can help promote the Contest that fills the description box if the user lets it empty.
