Can a merchant or customer create a store or sell their product using my site’s payment gateway?

E-Wallet is a customer wallet plugin only — it lets buyers top up a balance, pay at checkout with the wallet, receive refunds to wallet, and (in multi-vendor setups) lets vendors withdraw earnings. It does NOT, on its own, let merchants/customers register and create their own stores.
To allow merchants to list and sell their own products on your site, you need to enable the Marketplace plugin (bundled free with Botble eCommerce — Admin → Plugins) and use a marketplace-ready theme such as Shofy, MartFury, Wowy, or Nest. Once Marketplace is active, E-Wallet integrates so each vendor has a wallet, earnings accumulate per order, and they can request payouts via Admin → E-Wallet → Withdrawals.
Regular buyers cannot become sellers unless the Marketplace plugin is enabled first.

The Shofy guides apply to any marketplace-ready theme (MartFury, Wowy, Nest) — the underlying Marketplace plugin is identical.
2) We do not provide a shared merchant demo account. You can register one yourself on a marketplace-enabled demo by clicking Become a Vendor in the customer dashboard:

Once registered, you will see the vendor dashboard, store setup, product creation, and the wallet/withdrawal flow exactly as a real merchant would.

No, we don’t sell gift card as product. It can’t be shown in the listing. You can make a product in Ecommerce -> Products as digital product, then attach gift card code in file attachment for this product.

First of all, congratulations on the plugin. I think it’s a very solid solution with a lot of potential. I’ve been testing it thoroughly using the demo, and I wanted to share some feedback and questions, as well as understand whether these points are already planned on your roadmap or if there’s any configuration I might be missing.
1. Refunds to wallet When processing a refund, even though the admin panel shows the option “refund to wallet”, in practice the system only allows refunding to the original payment method. I don’t see a way to force or guarantee that the refund is actually credited to the user’s wallet. Is this a current limitation of the plugin, or is there an additional configuration required to enable this behavior?
2. Gift cards as a product I see that gift cards can be created and sent from the customer dashboard, but I was wondering if there is (or if there are plans for) support for creating a gift card product, similar to Amazon’s model:
- The customer selects a gift card amount
- It can be automatically sent to an email address
- It behaves like a regular ecommerce product
This would make selling gift cards directly from the store much easier.3. Gift card serial control I noticed a point that seems a bit sensitive: if gift card serials are created and one of those serials is redeemed by a customer, the balance is credited correctly, but the money itself never actually entered the system. I feel there should be some kind of validation, accounting link, or control mechanism to avoid inconsistencies or potential abuse. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and whether there is any safeguard planned.
4. Using the plugin only as an internal wallet In my case, I’m interested in using the plugin only as an internal wallet and handling gift cards separately. However, I don’t see an option to disable the withdrawal button for users. Is there a way to do this currently, or would this be a feature worth considering?
Overall, I really like the direction of the plugin and the work you’re doing. I’d actually love to share some additional ideas for your consideration, see whether they would be feasible from a technical perspective, and whether you see economic potential in them. What would be the best channel or email address to reach out to you for this kind of proposal?

Maybe the wallet is not enabled on that account, so it can’t be refunded to the wallet.
We don’t create a wallet for customers automatically. It’s just activated when customers use it by topping it up first.

4. You can disable the gift card feature in Wallet settings if you don’t need it.
We will consider adding an option to disable withdrawal in future versions. Need to change the flow of the wallet. This feature is complex and will take time to do. We will check it when we have more time.

Will you be releasing future updates regarding gift cards? This means the system generates codes for cards of different price categories through the system administrator, and the user redeems the gift card and loads it directly into their account.
