I am currently using the plugin Image Hover Effects – Elementor Addon on a WordPress website.

Today, Wordfence reported a vulnerability affecting version 1.4.4 and below, described as a Missing Authorization vulnerability (CVE-2025-57939).

From the information available, it seems that:

• the affected version is ≤ 1.4.4
• no patch appears to be available yet

Before taking action on the website, I would like to clarify a few points with you:

1. Does this vulnerability affect both the free version and the premium version of the plugin? 2. If I purchase the premium version on Envato, does it include a patched or secure version of the plugin? 3. Is there an upcoming update planned that fixes this vulnerability? 4. In the meantime, do you recommend temporarily disabling the plugin?

I would like to understand the safest option before making changes.

I am experiencing a rendering issue with your plugin where thin white lines (1px artifacts) appear between images during the hover transition.

Issue Details:

Chrome: The glitch is persistent during mouse-over transitions between images.

Firefox: The issue appears specifically when a sidebar is enabled on the page, which likely affects the container’s width calculation.

Observations: It seems to be a sub-pixel rounding error caused by the CSS transforms or scaling used in the hover effect. When the browser calculates container widths in non-integers (e.g., during layout shifts or sidebars), it leaves a 1px rendering gap.

Request: Could you please check if you can implement backface-visibility: hidden or transform: translateZ(0) to force GPU acceleration, or perhaps use a slight outline: 1px solid transparent to mask these rounding artifacts?

My wordpress is the latest version but I was using this element since last year however after updating wordpress and elementor to latest versions respectively, this element stopped working and while activating it, it is giving 500 fatal error. Please help in this situation as theme design is totally dependent on this element

Hi, I just bought your item and I would like to have the image effect like the image of the castle and the road in your example at ‘content’. Is it the hover effect ‘shift’? Because I don’t see this effect in my drop down list at Elementor. How to set up this image effect with text block hover?

I would like a title that remains displayed at all times (like your image with the pine forest in winter) and a subtitle that appears when you hover over the image (slide-up effect). i want to use an effect such as shown here https://imagehoverpro.blocksera.com/ first hover effects under title content effects. basically i need the title to appear as default and when hovering i need to show title and describtion or subtitle. can you guide me through how to achieve this? would be even better if i could change color of title when hovering over it.

Hello. I imported a wide image with 2308×322 resolution. It’s importing it in full size. When I adjust to a lower resolution, it doesn’t change the image size. The image container is still the same height and weidth Just makes the image blurrier. Is there a way to adjust the image size to make it smaller? Like you can in a regular image block in Elementor.

Hi there, This plugin is not compatible with the latest Elementor Optimized Control Loading feature. Your plugin uses after_register_scripts instead of get_script_depends, and after_enqueue_styles instead of get_style_depends. Please can you update the plugin to be compatible.

I would like a refund. I bought “Emage – Image Hover Effects for Elementor” but apparently it doesn’t work with my version of Wordpress 6.4.3…. I’m disappointed to say the least. GREAT product and I would love the hover effects. But until you upgrade your product, I can’t use it. If it is being upgraded SOON – then I’ll wait… just reset my support etc. Thanks Sal
