Hi, any of yours plugins let me embed in wordpress my docs (PDF / PPT) from Drive or DropBox but without set public.
Is for a membership site
Thanks for reaching out to us.
The best way I can recommend for your purpose is to use Box.com to host your files and Embed Any Document Plus to embed them in your website.
Box.com comes with solid privacy options and an intuitive document viewer.
Please let me know if you have any other question on it. Happy to help.

Are you still planning to add gallery functionality to this plugin?
Yes we are! You can expect it with our next update – in a week.
Thanks for the fast reply – I’ll be looking forward to seeing the galleries next week.
When will you have this update ready?
I want Wordpress to display the EXIF image data.
If I use the WordPress Media uploader I can do this OK.
If I use your plugin will this info still be available
Thanks for your help
Unfortunately, Dropbox does not provide EXIF data of the images hosted. So it will not be available when using our plugin.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Is there still a possibility of having gallery functionality? It would be great to have this.
We are still working on the feature. We understand how great of a feature it can be but it is taking more time than we anticipated.
I would like to remove the tinyMCE button for dropr. I am only going to be using this plugin for the featured image function. Is there a simple way to do this?
Please try the following code.
$remove = 'dropr_button';
//Find the array key and then unset
if ( ( $key = array_search($remove,$buttons) ) !== false )
You just had to add the priority value with the code you have tried.
Hello. Does it work with WooCommerce?
The plugin works fine with WooCommerce.
Please check – https://cl.ly/hpeM
Images it is great, but how about digital goods and zip, rar packages?
The plugin is not embedding featured images it’s just adding them to my library. I thought this plugin was supposed to embed the image from dropbox.
The core reason why we are copying Featured Image to Media Library is that WordPress cannot resize or crop the selected images from Dropbox according to theme’s settings. If featured images are not cropped/resized as per the theme settings, it will cause layout issues for the theme. Especially when you have grid style layouts. So we thought it’s better to keep Featured Images this way.
We are working on an option that will let you choose between Dropbox and Media Library as default featured image host. You can expect it in our next major update.
Pre-purchase question: is there a way to determine download stats for the dropbox files? ie. how many downloads have taken place per file?
If not, is this plugin compatible with Orangedox third-party service?
Unfortunately, Dropr does not support tracking and analytics. It does not support any third-party service either.
Hi, Is it possible to make dropbox-nonpublic -files available for download for users that are logged in to a WordPress site ? Thanks!
1. It is possible to make any Dropbox-hosted files available for download on your website.
2. Dropr does not come with any user access options. You might have to use any other plugin to restrict the URL access to only logged in users.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help.

Thank you! I was planning on including download links on a page marked with visibility “private”...but I guess in reality the download-links would still be available public? Do you know of any way to lock that ?
Hi – I bought the plugin yesterday having read that over a month ago gallery functionality was going to be added ‘in a week’. However, it still does not appear to be there – am I doing something wrong? If the gallery functionality is not in place, I’m afraid I will have to request a refund.
Hi – it’s been 8 days and no response. Please can you reply to my question?
Hi there, I have just upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress and I have a problem with Dropr. It is connecting fine from the editor window and the photos load within the editor. But as soon as I check on my website the images appear as broken links. I have deactivated the plugin, deleted it and reinstalled it but I still have the same problem.
Here is a link to an example page where the problem exists:
The main image is a feature one which is stored on the server so isn’t affected.
