Email Toolbox - tweak and enhance Prestashop outbox

Cart 3 sales

This module is a set of handy email – related tools.

It allows you to disable emails based on the template names.

Most of the emails sent by Prestashop are related to order status change and can be configured and disabled if needed.

But there are also some automatics emails, that are sent unconditionally, like order confirmation, credit slip etc.

It may be useful if for example:

  • Your shop is integrated with some external system, used for sending order confirmations
  • You don’t want the credit slip PDF to be sent to your customers

You can also configure the module to send BCC copies of specific emails to some specified email addresses.

Another feature is to replace the [no_sync] suffix, added by Prestashop to contact form subjects with customer’s email.

It may be also very useful to remove shop name from email subject.

Another feature is to set customer email as a replyTo field for the new_order email (sent by the ps_emailalerts module). It will allow you to send reply to the new_order notification directly to the customer who placed the order.

You can also set the “replyTo” and “from” fields for outgoing emails.

This module is built for performance, it uses no overrides and no additional database queries.
