Hello,

I tested the live preview of CvSnap and I have a few presale questions before purchasing:

1. When I download/export the resume as PDF, some text lines and spacing appear misaligned compared to the preview. Also, in some templates, dark background sections are cut off in the middle of the page instead of covering the full page height, which affects the printed presentation. Is this a known issue, and can it be fixed?

2. When I change the typography/font option, the font does not seem to change in the preview or in the exported PDF. Is the font selector working correctly?

3. Is it possible to change the interface/template language from English to Spanish?

4. Is it possible to manually customize the section title texts with our own wording? For example, changing “Experience” to any custom text we want. Currently, I do not see an option in the preview to edit the section titles.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in CvSnap and for testing the live preview.

1. Regarding the PDF export alignment and dark background sections: The issue is mainly related to browser print rendering and html2canvas/jsPDF limitations on certain screen sizes and zoom levels. I’m currently improving the PDF rendering engine to make spacing, alignment, and full-page background coverage more consistent across all templates. Yes, this can be fixed and optimized further in future updates.

2. About the typography/font selector: The font switcher is supported, but some templates currently use predefined font stacks for layout consistency, which may make the change less noticeable in preview/PDF. I’m refining this behavior so font changes apply more consistently across all templates and exports.

3. Language support: At the moment, the interface is in English by default, but the content itself can be written in Spanish or any language. Full interface translation/custom language support can also be added easily since the template is fully frontend-based.

4. Custom section titles: Yes, this is possible. The section titles are editable from the data/config structure, and I’m also planning to make this more user-friendly in the UI so users can directly rename titles like “Experience,” “Education,” etc. to any custom wording they prefer.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

I like the product and I am interested in purchasing it, but I believe the points I mentioned are essential features for a CV/resume builder.

The system definitely needs an update and corrections, especially for the PDF export, font selector, and customizable section titles.

For now, I will wait until these points are completed. Once they are fixed, I will be ready to purchase it.

Thank you.
