ttippmann – this is what got me too. Just enter a “name” in the box where it says at the top of the Plugin Settings form – “Or create new shortcode id” (just type a word like “mypricetable”) in the empty field.
Make a few modifications on the form (or not) and then “Save Options” near the bottom.
Once done, when you navigate back to the “CSS3 Web Pricing Tables Grids settings” Page (that we just left) you can see your new “ShortCode” where it says “Choose”, again at the top (you have to drop the menu to see it!) “Choose the shortcode id you just made in the drop down”
Then you can make changes, save them and they’ll be stored with that “name” that you chose for the shortcode (over and over til you get it right:).
Programmers are not notorious for great instructions, just awesome code which I always pick to death. This is a good one – I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise.
Hope that helps.

Yes, that exactly what you should do. Thank you for detailed description, it can be usefull for other users. Anyway there is a video, where you can see how to configure, save and put the table on the page.
If you have any suggestions about admin panel, please let me know. I’m open for a new ideas.
Thank you
Like the plugin, but confused on how to save a pricing table so I can come back and edit it when necessary with out creating a whole new one. What am I missing?
Hi,
Please check @2sticks comment. He described that very well
You can also watch screencast which shows how to configure, save and put the table on your page. Please let me know, if you’ll need more help.
I figured it out (sort of). It had to have a [shortcode] inserted to kick it up. Duh . . . Where did I miss that?
It appears to work in Firefox. Chrome is being fussy again.
thanks stu
Is there still any problem in Chrome or you’ve sorted that out?
I have uploaded the zipped file indicated [css3_web_pricing_tables_grids.zip] using the plugin uploader and via scp (unzipped). Either way I think there’s a GID permission issue which I’ve seen a couple times on just a few plugins. I cannot recursively set 2755 in the folder which is the normal octal for all my plugins.
The long and short of it is that I get “Please fill ‘Shortcode id’ field!” (in a pink box at the top) even if I just try to save the provided template with no changes. Do I have to manually put a shortcode in to get around this. There are no shortcodes in the dropdown box at the top of the plugin settings page. It will not save any changes no matter what I’ve tried.
Any insight into this problem would be appreciated. I do most of my work on the box through ssh behind a firewall.
Thanks Stu
I know, that you’ve solved that problem, but I put that reply for other user, which will have similar issues. Please watch this video – it’s shows how to implement the pricing table.
Great product and great support! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Hello,
I have purchased your plugin and tried to activate it but this is the error message I was shown: The plugin does not have a valid header.
I am currently using Wordpress 3.2.1
Hello,
Please first unpack css3-web-pricing-tables-grids-for-wordpress.zip. You’ll find inside css3_web_pricing_tables_grids.zip archive. Please install the plugin using it.
Hi, is it possible to add the PayPal “Add To Cart” button to the “sign up” button area you have on your demos in the video?
Let me know. THanks!
Dante
Yes, it’s possible. You can put there any html content. So just paste there PayPal button code.
Oh, really! That’s bad. I will buy your version then. Thanks again.
So this new one is the same plugin? But for updates I need to buy this new item listing? Is that right?
Thanks, Luke
This looks like an upgrade of CSS3 Pricing Tables for WordPress plugin that I bought here from a seller named Youpagi just a couple of months ago. I notice that the one I bought has been pulled from the marketplace.
Is there a difference between the two? If it is the same plugin, what would I be missing in this upgrade?
Cheers.
Hi, just purchased and going through making my tables but got a question…. Im trying to get a tick or cross icon but can not see a way of doing it, there is another script like this that just lets you define “{yes} or {no}” and it will put a tick icon in the column. Is there a way to put a tick or cross icon into a column with this script? Cheers
Hi,
I’m working on that right now and I’ll update my item today. There will be also more updates, so please visit item page from time to time. I’ll update item description, when new functionalities be added.
I purchased your tables plugin. It’s been pretty good so far. I had to also tweak some of it because my site CSS made it a bit funky. Now it’s working well though.
SUGGESTION : It would be cool if you also made a checkbox to have a one of the tables to popout on default with some corner graphic like on this blog that says NEW or SPECIAL or SALE , etc… it would make the BEST DEAL pop out among the rest of the columns and hopefully bring more attention to promotions.
Other than that – nice plugin.
Hi,
I’ve made a checkbox which can makes one (or many) column active and I’ve update my item. Update is not approved yet. I’ll update item description, when the update will be available, so please visit item page from time to time. There will be more new functions with the update, such as: configurable column widths and aligns.
Thank you
disabling cufon worked – Thanks for your time and help
eamond
I’m glad to hear that. Please check from time to time for updates. I’ve added yesterday an update wth an option to change column widths. When it gets approved, I’ll add appropiate info in description. Please also take a moment and rate my item. Thank you
it’s changed back now
eamond
Look like the cufon makes the problem there. You need to change initial font size in h1 (main.css file line 127 – div.p_table_2 h1) and h2 (main.css file line 133 – div.p_table_2 h2)or use h3 if it’s ok to you. You can also disable cufon on the headers in pricing table.
Thanks for the quick reply
it’s
http://www.twoway.es/order-twoway/I changed the H1 and H2 tags to H3 as they were too big for the table,
I want it to look exactly like the preview in the CSS3 ’s settings
Thanks
eamond
Could you change they back, so I can see where is the problem?
Hi,
was just about to buy another tables plugin and this popped up – just in time, this is perfect – thanks
one small issue when I import the code into the page – it inherits the h1 and h2 tags from the main stylesheet – and it looks a mess -
have you any quick workaround to save me from going through the CSS ??
Thanks again – great plugin
Hi,
Thank you! Please send me a link to your page (could be on e-mail of you don’t want to post it here), then I’ll give you the solution.
Looks great guys!
Thanks!
Looks very nice and easy to use! Good luck with the sales.
Thank you
