Hi I have installed it and trying to go live… i noticed that i only get emails to myself (the owner of the website) but the CUSTOMER does not get any confirmation emails when he puts an order through??

After installation, have you configured the settings from admin panel? you may check the documentation for configuration.
I wasted HOURS trying to get cron email to work for magento. Forget it. Just buy this. It works out of the box.
