Hi, done, but I have the possibility to modify it, I would need it urgently, it would simplify my work a lot, I would find it done. Thanks in advance Best regards, Giuseppe

Bookly Recurring Appointments (Add-on). I would like to set the next single appointment in 6/12 months, automatically. Currently the frequency is (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly). I would add the repetition for 1 single appointment in six months “semi-annual” – twelve months “annual”.grazie

Hello Giuseppe,

Thank you for your message.

At the moment, our development team is fully occupied with existing tasks and unable to accommodate any customization requests. We appreciate your understanding.

Documentation FAQ Feature Requests Video Tutorials

Hi Bookly Support,

I recently purchased the Recurring Appointments Add-on for my WordPress website, hoping to use it to offer a fixed 4-session service as a paid-in-full series. The idea is to let clients select a start date, and then automatically schedule 4 bi-weekly appointments—with no option to skip or change the number of recurring sessions.

Here’s the structure I’m trying to implement:

The service is a 4-part series offered at a discounted package price (paid in full at time of booking)
The sessions must be booked every two weeks, automatically
I’d like the recurring booking to be required, with no option to uncheck or adjust how many sessions the client is booking
Payment should reflect the full package price (not individual sessions), and clients should not be able to book more than those 4 sessions under the same payment

Unfortunately, from what I’m seeing:

The recurring option is optional for the client, which means they can skip it
There’s no visible setting to enforce a minimum/maximum number of repeat appointments
The system charges per appointment, not as a single full-program fee
This makes it possible for someone to book only one session or book 8+ sessions for the price of 4, which breaks my workflow and pricing model

Can you please let me know if there is a way to:

Require recurring appointments for a specific service (no checkbox to skip)
Limit the total number of appointments to 4 (fixed series)
Charge a single full-package price (not per appointment)

If this functionality isn’t supported yet, are there any upcoming updates or alternate ways to implement it using the current add-ons?

Thank you so much for your help—I’m really hoping I can make this work with Bookly!

Warmly, Gaianna

Hi Gaianna.

Thanks for your message.

Regarding charging a full-package price, navigate to Bookly Settings > Recurring appointments and choose the ‘Customers must pay for all appointments in series’ option so users will pay for all appointments upfront. I’m afraid the rest aren’t supported yet. However, we’re constantly working on improvements and value all feedback. That’s why we’ve created a Feature Request forum: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/. The forum is where we track requests for new capabilities, and our product development depends directly on the number of votes each request receives. We encourage you to record a request that best fits your business needs.

Hello, i just bought this add-on, but there’s a bug in the “repeat this appointment” section. My site is in French, but for the date, “Until” is in English. Additionally, the scheduling part is in French but not in the correct format, e.g., “Sat, Jul 13” instead of “Sat 13 Jul” as I want it. And when I modify a date in the scheduling, it resets the date back to English.

Dear Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the confirmation emails for recurring appointments. When I add Service 1 for recurring appointments and then use the “book more” button to add Service 2 for recurring appointments, the booking process correctly lists all dates and service names, including the total price. However, in the confirmation email, I only receive details for Service 1. It seems that only the service added first is displayed in the confirmation booking email.

Could you please advise on how I can ensure that both services are listed in the confirmation email when using recurring appointments and the “book more” button?

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

Hi just purchased and wondering can you use woocommerce to create multiple products and restrict people to say repeat booking so f 4 sessions as trying to set it to offer a booking for one session at x but if they pre pay for 4 they get 30% discount off the block bookings

Also https://tatianakott.com/121-lessons/ this is now showing a second block and no idea how as the figure on block of 4 should be 320 not 80 Which has this short code [bookly-services-form book-lessons] How do we just show one booking option and this looks a weird form compared to the demos

have taken over from someone who built this so getting my head around things, if we can put a shortcode on each specific page that links to different options that would be great so we can say here id the URL for block of 4 and here is a discount code that can apply to that offer

does that make sense

Hi there.

Thanks for your message.

It isn’t possible to create multiple products using WooCommerce. Please note that the purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce). If you enable this integration, WooCommerce will add the Bookly items to an already existing WooCommerce cart, which means that your customers will be re-directed away from your site to the WooCommerce cart after the details step. Payment features/options from Bookly will be disabled including the “Service paid locally” option, and they can purchase items from Bookly and WooCommerce in one session. So even if you use this integration, the booking process is maintained, and you’ll sell services from Bookly, not WooCommerce products.

To set this integration, you’ll need “fake” products and set any price for the “fake” products since the final/total price will be taken from Bookly services and other attributes from WooCommerce will be ignored. The “fake” products will serve as the “bridge” between Bookly and WooCommerce which means you can assign a WooCommerce product for each service separately, hence, there will be multiple products in the WooCommerce cart at the time of checkout. We advise hiding the “fake” product from WooCommerce as you won’t be selling the “fake” products to avoid confusing customers. To hide the “fake” products, you need to find (in the right part) the catalog visibility option and set it to hide: https://i.imgur.com/wyIQROe.png.

Regarding discounts, please check if the Bookly Discounts Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018608819-Discounts-Add-on will work for this requirement. It will allow you to set up conditional discounts that will be applied during checkout if you have installed and activated one of the Bookly add-ons (https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/207068625-How-do-they-book-multiple-services-in-one-session-) that qualify your clients to book several appointments per session. There are two conditions that can be used to create a pricing rule that will reduce the cost of the booking: Number of persons in the appointment Number of appointments booked in one session

If several created discounts match the condition for the discount during the booking, all existing discounts will be applied. For example, you have set a £10 discount for 2 persons in the booking and a £30 discount for 3 persons, then a customer books 3 persons, both £10 and £30 discounts will be applied.

Or you could check if the Bookly Packages Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003045634-Packages-Add-on will work with this requirement. It allows you to offer package deals for your client’s favorite services as well as add an optional discount on packages. So you will need to create a simple service for the price of the packages then your client will have to book their first appointment right away in the front-end booking form. And then you assign the packages in the back-end so your customers can book the rest of the package services later as long as they’re booked within the set validity period. Currently, the default Bookly booking form doesn’t support the booking of packages by your customers on the front end. However, the new Bookly search form is fully compatible with the packages feature – your clients can book the package (https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/bookly-pro-v5-0/) of services like standard services. See how it works on our free live demo (https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/packages/book-a-package/).

The workaround, if you use the default Bookly booking form (https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185-Publish-Booking-Form), is to give the customers’ user accounts so that when they’re logged in, they can see a list of purchased packages with expiration dates, details, and the ability to schedule the rest of the package services. Please check this article for online access to booking for clients: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212455529-Online-Access-to-Bookings-for-Clients.

Kindly note that the packages don’t work and are incompatible with the following add-ons. 1. Bookly Group Booking Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000259594-Group-Booking-Add-on 2. Bookly Custom Duration Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005082294-Services-with-flexible-duration-Custom-Duration-Add-on-

However, if you have both the Bookly Packages Add-on and Bookly Group Booking Add-on installed, your customers can still book the simple services with the group booking capacity. But the services in the package can only be booked by a single person.

Still, we recommend you check out our demos: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/full/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bookly-discounts https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/packages/

Hi, I would like to set up a recurring schedule for this service. Specifically, I would like the service to repeat every 21 days on the booking list. However, I am facing some challenges in configuring this aspect, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in guiding me through the process.

Hello. At the moment, the available repeat intervals include daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly options.

Best regards, Bookly Team

hello before I buy this plugin, can you confirm if this plugin can allow to a registered user to just view upcoming appointments without modify or edit the appointments? i need 2 type of users, one the admin who edit and other the advisor who only see their upcoming appointments.

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Please, check Appointments List option: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212455529-Online-Access-to-Bookings-for-Clients

By logging into WordPress, your customers can view their past and upcoming bookings right on your site, and even are able to cancel them right then and there (optional).

Thanks!

is this imagination found in your plugin????

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Please check the combination of Custom Duration (Add-on): https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005082294-Services-with-flexible-duration-Custom-Duration-Add-on- and Bookly Recurring Appointments (Add-on): https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001442665-Recurring-Appointments-Add-on.

With Custom Duration (Add-on) your customers will be able to choose the start hour and the length of the appointment, for example, the start time is 4 pm and the length is 2 hours (so the end time is 6 pm).

With Bookly Recurring Appointments (Add-on) your customer will be able to choose repetition interval, last date, or the number of recurrences.

Please try the sandbox on a live website before making the purchase to get a better understanding of how Bookly PRO and its add-ons work, and be able to discern if Bookly PRO and its add-ons fit your business needs. Hi,

When clients pay for the first session with repeat the session(Recurring Appointments), they only get charged for the first appointment. How can we charge for recurring appointments? There is no notification to remind a client to pay for the next recurring appointment. We need to have them paid before the session.

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

For a recurring series, the following payment options are available (it can be adjusted in Bookly > Settings > Recurring Appointments):
1) Pay for the first appointment — the rest will have to be paid upon arrival;
2) Pay for all appointments.

Thanks!

Good afternoon,

Hope you’re doing well.

We are looking to purchase your recurring appointments addon along with the Stripe addon.

Can you please let us know, if a customer books a weekly service on the website, does bookly charge them per week using stripe recurring payments?

As if it only allows them to pay for the first service or all at once this really would be suitable for a recurring appointment.

Kind regards, Scott

Wouldn’t

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your message.

You can choose either to pay for one appointment or pay for the whole series: https://prnt.sc/gYTXZFmxGhN2

But there is no option to charge for the upcoming appointments automatically. The case is that Bookly doesn’t store the information about clients’ payment details.

Thanks!

Can this plugin create multiple zoom meetings for each of the appointments created in the recurring booking?

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

If you use Bookly Recurring Appointments (Add-on): https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-recurring-appointments-addon/19497634, the links for the meetings will be different as the system creates separate appointments.

Pre Sales: Hello a couple of questions please.

1. We require each employee to be able to manage their own services and set their bookings and schedules etc. including the email to customers and reminders. Is this possible 2. Can we set appointments to only be on a Saturday? 3. Can we export all bookings and Filter bookings

Hi,

Thanks for your message.

Please note that Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule. After you set up the staff member’s schedule, this schedule will be repeated for the following weeks. Please note that the system takes into account the staff member’s schedule when rendering available time slots in the front-end/booking.

So the availability offered in the booking form is based on the schedule of the staff member. Whereas, the interval of the slots offered is regulated with the time slot length as this is the basis of how the hours are divided and presented in the booking form.

The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/features/ are intended to help give more flexibility to achieve desired features.

“1. We require each employee to be able to manage their own services and set their bookings and schedules etc…”

Please check if the Bookly Staff Cabinet Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003349989-Staff-Cabinet-Add-on will work for this requirement.

It allows your providers/staff members/employees to manage their bookings, own calendar, view and update details, manage services (create appointments), prices, schedule, days off, and special days (if installed), as well as export their calendar information into a CSV file without access to the WordPress admin panel.

However, please note that the creation of services is, at this time, possible in the back-end through admin only. And currently, it is impossible to forbid the staff to edit their appointments.

"...including the email to customers and reminders. Is this possible"

Please check these articles regarding emails:

- Notifications Overview: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212411249-Notifications-Overview
- Set Up Emails: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212997905-Set-Up-Emails
- Customize Notifications: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212411309-Customize-Notifications

“2. Can we set appointments to only be on a Saturday?”

You should be able to set the staff members’ schedules to OFF except for Saturday.

“3. Can we export all bookings and Filter bookings”

The default configuration of Bookly Pro, as listed at https://bit.ly/33w8172 includes: Filterable, sortable, and searchable booking list that you can print or export to CSV in the Appointments section.

Please check our demo https://booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/staff-cabinet/.

OR try the sandbox on a live website before purchasing to better understand how Bookly PRO and its add-ons work and be able to discern if Bookly products fit your business needs.

To access the sandbox mode, please go to https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo-list/ and add your email address and click on the “Configure” button then follow the rest of the steps that you’ll receive on your mail.

If you require further assistance or have additional questions/clarifications about this, please send us an email to sales@bookly.info and mention Ticket #164625, so we can look into this matter for you.

Richel

Hi,

We have bookly running with repeating appointments and coupons on this website https://www.powerhousefightclub.co.uk/pt-booking/ however they want the coupon to apply to each appointment for just a one off discount. how can this be achieved.

Hello,

The ‘Limit appointments in cart (min and max)’ allows you to limit the number of services of the same type required to apply a coupon. If left blank. it sets no restrictions.
