Great work!
Many thanks – it’s very important for us!
Hello,
I am trying to get Mailchimp to receive customer information once an appointment is made via Bookly. I am using the Bookly Pro add-on.
I have followed all the set up steps provided here: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408845330962-Mailchimp-Integration
This software is currently not working as advertised. What am I missing? Thanks!
PS – I would be happy to provide you the purchase code, which the envato market site says that you will ask for. I didn’t post here since this will appear in the comments page.

Hi,
In addition to the following fields … • Email address of the client • Client first name • Client last name • Client birthday • Client phone number • Client address • Client note
Is it possible to export the values in the fields {category_name} and/or {service_name} to mailchimp as a tag, when a customer is entering details to book an appointment for a service?
The {category_name} and {service_name} would relate to the service for which the customer is making the booking, at the time the data is exported to mailchimp.
Thanks.
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
I’m afraid such an option is not yet supported. You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/boards/feature-requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.
Thanks!
Alex

Hi there! Is there a way to have tags automatically be added for customers synced with MailChimp? We’d like to be able to label people joining our list.

HI I see the question has been asked 9 months ago but I was wondering if there is now an opt in button for the mailing list? For GDPR reason I can’t purchase this for a client without it and will have to do a workaround via a woocommerce checkout with it.

Hi, I have configured the MailChimp addon for the Bookly plugin. Accounts are automatically imported to MailChimp when making a reservation. For the correctness of the GDPR it would not be appropriate for customers to tick a box where they express their consent to be subscribed to the newsletter?
Thanks. Kind regards
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
At this time, opting-in isn’t supported with the Bookly Mailchimp Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408845330962-Mailchimp-Integration. And as you may know, this integration allows you to set up integration between Bookly and your Mailchimp account so that your customer’s contact information will be automatically exported to your mailing list after an appointment is created via Bookly. Currently, the fields exported are:
- Email address of the client
- Client first name
- Client last name
However, you should be able to use the ‘Show Terms & Conditions checkbox’ option in the “Bookly > Appearance > Details step” section which is a default configuration of Bookly. You can just reword it to match the opt-in.
If you require further assistance or have additional questions/clarifications about this, please create a support ticket using the link below and mention Ticket #175961 so the Support Team can look into this matter for you.

Can you tell me why a new customer is not going to Mailchimp. I set the ApiKey like the ID. So the tool doesn’t work.
ApiKey: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-us14 Server: https://us14.admin.mailchimp.com ID: 05xx5xxxx6
Können Sie mir sagen warum ein neuer Kunde nicht ins Mailchimp geht. Habe den ApiKey wie den ID eingestellt. Das Tool funktioniert also nicht.

This add-on doesn’t seem to be working in the back-end demo at present. i would like to see how this is implemented on the front-end though, does the customer have an opt-in ?
Hi,
Thanks for your message.
The Bookly Mailchimp Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408845330962-Mailchimp-Integration doesn’t have a demo as the integration is pretty straightforward.
This integration allows you to set up integration between Bookly and your Mailchimp account so that your customer’s contact information will be automatically exported to your mailing list after an appointment is created via Bookly.
Currently, the fields exported are:
- Email address of the client
- Client first name
- Client last name
So customers’ opting-in isn’t supported.
However, you should be able to use the ‘Show Terms & Conditions checkbox’ option in the “Bookly > Appearance > Details step” section and just reword it to match the opt-in.
If you require further assistance or have additional questions/clarifications about this, please send us an email to support@bookly.info and mention Ticket #169339, so we can look into this matter for you.
Many thanks,
Richel

If I delete a Bookly customer, so does this add-on delete the contact in Mailchimp server automatically if it was previously automatically added?
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Please note that the contact in the Mailchimp server will not be deleted automatically if you delete a Bookly customer.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
