I thought I would try the light version before purchasing, but I need this to stay in a column in Visual Composer but when entered it spans the whole page. Is there a setting to fix this? Does the paid version fix this? Any guidance appreciated.

Hi, Visual Composer is supported yes. The full version lists are available in the VC interface. If you have any issue with that please do not hesitate to open a support ticket via the support tab at the top of the item’s page and our support team will be with you shortly. :-)

Hello,

On the category lists. Your plugin doesn’t render the shortcodes of visual composer. How to fix this?

Hello, is it supported to define own sidebars by categories? Use this sidebar with category blog and when viewing a posts from that category.

thanks cstibi

If you need to set a different sidebar for different pages you need to check on the Sidebar Widget Manager plugin ;-) The Blog Manager can make blog post listings. It does not deal with sidebars.

Hi, I have recenly changed my website’s theme to DiVi and since that your plugin is not able to get the excerpt text when I use the DiVi builder feature… It is probably because DiVi creates tags at the beginning of the post and the plugin (correctly) strips them away but then doesn’t get the following text. Is it possible to fix this? I am willing to renew my support membership if you can fix it… Thanks for your attention

Hi,

If the issue is on our end it will be fixed asap. If it is with something else we will at least give suggestions. In most cases we fix that too.

I would like to purchase this but before I do I have a couple of questions.

I need to show the categories at the top of the page and I also need people to be able to leave comments if the post has been flagged as being able to accept comments.

Also can it support more than 1 editor person, as I need to support multiple logins to different sections/categories.

Alan

Hi, The categories are available as filters on top of every Newspaper template. The Newspaper templates can easily be made to look exactly like the Grid templates. Comments can be left in the single post pages which is up to your theme or you can also check the Post Custom Templates which allows you to create any template you like for your single posts.

The Blog Manager does not limit access in any way. You can use any tool to give access/permissions for different users.

Test free version before buy : I have a warning on top of every pages of my website “Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘otw_pctp_post_template’ not found or invalid function name in /homepages/28/d314557868/htdocs/clausparis-live2016/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 524” – I really want to know if it works with my template before I buy the plugin. Please can you tell me what’s wrong?

Oups, it was your Post Custom Templates Lite which is guilty. But I want that one also.

Hi I have purchased the software, installed it in the latest Wordpress (which I am pretty new to) but I do not know how to get it working in a blank page.

I have created the list in Wordpress as requested, your guide says the following…...

Every list has a shortcode that can be found in the Blog Manager menu -> Blog lists. You can use the shortcode to add the list in a page/post content area or in a template file by using the do_shortcode WordPress function. The shortcode can be added to a page/post content area by using the Add Blog List button in your WYSIWYG editor. The plugin comes with a widget that can be used to add any blog posts list in a sidebar.

What is the Add Blog List button in your WYSIWYG editor. and where can I find it?

Are there any videos of setting this up in a page?

Alan

http://www.radprotocol.com/research-blog/

The pagination is working. So the point is. Why is the pagination is not working in the homepage? Please help me fix this thing! Thanks!

Hi, i have some problem using filters on a blog. Filter seems not running on some browsers. May be a bug? I’ve opened also a support ticket. Thank You Maurizio

Hi,

I checked on the support logs and our support team is waiting on your reply to provide more info. Once you do they will be able to check it out for you. :-)

I did’nt find any reply to my ticket (mail form). Do i have to login on a support website?

Hi, I checked the support logs and I can see we have send you the email 3 times and all are with normal status. Please check your hotmail.it mail box spam folder it it gets there for some reason.

Actually, you would just need to make it so that it reads the div and the php and puts the ACF in that post. They are already doing it in other places, the only problem is those places push the template through the site, not the category like you are able to do. As a freelancer I can say I would then put this on every website I built. For instance this is an ACF field that I am bringing in through my current template <?php the_field('Branch'); ?>

Hi,

Open a support ticket via the support tab at the top of the item’s page. Please provide more details on examples on what are you trying to accomplish and our support team will be with you shortly. :-)

I’m bummed that your plugin can’t pull posts from tags associated with custom post types. Every time I try to put a tag in the list builder, it can’t find it. If this can’t be added, I’ll need a refund.

Hi, The plugin works with the default WordPress post only. It does not support CPTs at this point. If it can’t pull the default posts tags for some reason please open a support ticket via the support tab at the top of the item’s page and our support team will be with you shortly :-)

How far off is it from supporting custom post types?

Hi, I can’t really give any release date.

Hello Is this the theme of RTL languages are supported?

Hi,

That is not a plugin and it can be a super good addition to any theme. I am afraid it does not suppor RTL at this point.

Hello,

Can you please provide a support for adding alt on the featured image of every post here? Because I need it to have a high score in my seo please.

For example: <’img src= “http://www.radprotocol.com/rad_pro-24389/wp-content/uploads/otwbm/tmb/doc-and-old-man_1480596698_319X220_c_c_1_FFFF FF.jpg” alt=””>

That alt is always blank even though I already added an alt descriptions on the media page. Please fix this.

Does this plugin allow me to create standard single post, archive and search templates?

Hi, The Blog Manager allows you to create post lists. The single post templates can be created with this plugin – Post Custom Templates

Hi,
The Categories Filter (above the blog) always shows the Categories of any excluded categories too. Do you have any plans to be able to adjust this?
It seems a bit odd to be able to exclude a Category from a particular Blog display, only to have it show up in the Filter above.

Many thanks though, this is a great plugin.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I will have this checked. :-)

Thanks very much.

Hi, I love your plugin, but is it possible to make titles larger than 40 pt?

Hi, Open a support ticket via the support tab at the top of the item’s page and our support team will be with you shortly. Also send an example URL for your post lists. :-)

Thanks for the reply :)

Looked promising, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for custom post types.

Hi, Yes the plugin currently supports the default WordPress posts only to help you build any kind of blog lists and presenting your posts.

In the post list image left 1column is possible to set “circle image”?

Hi, the plugin currently does not have it in the options list but it can be easily done with a simple css adjustment like this one: https://www.abeautifulsite.net/how-to-make-rounded-images-with-css

If you can’t make this work open a support ticket via the support tab at the top of the item’s page and our support team will help you.
