Hi, this product is not intended to be used for development purposes but we released it because people were asking for hosting the backend of the following client app under their own domain.

However, some changes would be possible in the source code, you would not be able to fully modify it. Please, let me know if you have more questions or you need more clarifications.

I recently buyed both app and backend and to be honest i´m a little disappointed with the install, the instructions are for all external pages/services and i was expecting i could install it in my dedicated plesk server, not in some external server o service. I´ve read somewhere here in comments that your answer to be possible to install in own server so i ask you, can you please some tutorial or some few instructions of how can i install it on a plesk panel (has node.js v12).

Hi, we have not experience with installing a NodeJS app on a server but here is an article which lists a number of options: https://flaviocopes.com/nodejs-hosting. Also, we have not tested the app with Node 12.x. We have tested and confirmed that it works with Node 6.x.

Hi, this app does not provide any payment gateways.
Its to bad that there isn’t any update in the program since the release, while on their website appseed.io there have been multple updates

Hi, this app is not an open source project in a sense that it is publicly accessible but you could host it on your own domain. The API of this backend can be used for any frontend application which handles JSON data.
Hi, i was wondering when there will be an update. If i look at the counterpart on appseed.io , there is also an option to include the menu to facebook. Will this be integrated into this package? Furthermore, on the site, is clearly stated that its Heraku ready (NOT MANDANTORY) also , no words are spoken inside the text that you need an amazone account! i’ve tried everything to cercumvent this, and so far, i’ve got it running on my own server and not on heraku, but the AWS keeps sticking…. isnt there any way to take your own (kind of ) AWS server like Minio or Scalily S3, all packages you can run on your own server…
Hi, what is the version of the mobile app you are using? The Facebook feature should be included in the latest version of the mobile app. To find your app version, please, open the package.json file and check the “version” field. Is there a way I can edit the order after it has been placed, rather than just deleting it, and re-creating it?
Also, how do I get the order screen to stop refreshing? If I’m scrolling through pages of stuff, it keeps refreshing all the time. I can set the refresh interval to a higher one, but then I don’t get the orders fast enough. A “pause” button would be nice…

My backend does not send emails. Checked env var settings more then 10 times. Mailgun successfully sends test email via curl.

Hi, this is a MEAN stack backend and it does not use Firebase. In the “Technologies” section of the product description you will be able to find a reference to all the technologies this backend is based on: https://codecanyon.net/item/appseed-restaurant-backend-lite-full-mean-stack-application/21263817. We have never tested/looked into Firebase as a hosting service for a MEAN stack backend. Since this backend uses Mongo as a database, it looks like the Mongo database could not be hosted if deploying the app to Firebase. Instead, we suggest and provide support for deploying the app to Heroku which takes cares of all the Node environments and Mongo setup.
