hello mi buy this item but is not working ..i not see and i can not find the dasbord plug in to customize the plug in
This is an addon for main plugin Social Share & Locker where this addon options may be found.
Hi, the storing procedure seems to be poor as per our logs we could see that the Views Addon caused the mysql database to crash. The option_value to be updated in the database seems to be very large enough (length=17444888) greater than the max packet size, even though we have a big value for the max packet size, still this entry seems to create problems as can be seen in the logs. We are also unable to access this entry from the database console. The option_key for this is “ispv_views_count”. The “option_value” column in the database is a longtext field and should be able to store upto 4,294,967,295 length but somehow the above value is unable to be updated, could also be due to some characeters inside the big text as a database import with this data was also failing.
We find that the code to store ispv_views_count is not quite optimized as it is serializing the full dataset of urls/view-count into one cell and over a period of time this chunk of data gets huge and serializing/deserializing this data every time seems to be an extra overhead, do you plan to update this code in the near future?
As well addon was not updated since May 2015 – is it even compatible with new Wordpress versions?

First, keep in mind that is item is an Addon for Social Share&Locker Plugin. Total Views counts can not be exported by default. But once are stored into your DB, may be a way to be accessed.

You can set Initial Counts for each social Networks and on specific Page or for all Pages together. So, all the pages will start with the same Initial Counts, instead of 0.

You should read properly about that the item is about. Is not a Plugin, is an AddOn for the main Plugin. So, to use the AddOn, you need the main Plugin. And of course, to open a ticket, you need the Purchase code from the main Plugin.

The Page Views is starting from 0. But you can set Initial Counts for it from General Options tab. So you can avoid very easy low counts even from the beginning.
