Sorry for the delay, unfortunately we don’t have any experience with Joomla but if you follow the instructions from the documentation file to install the player in a simple html page it should also work well for a Joomla html page.

How do I stop it from looping? the looping tag is set to no is not working.
This would be a great plugin if the stop loop featured actually worked. Have to look at a different one now.

Love the player, however I have one concern. On mobile (iOs, iPad) the mini player does not stick to the bottom all of the time. When the full player is expanded it will stay put, however when it is minimized to the view that just shows the equalizer and play button it will move up and down the screen and then jump back into position. I think a simple CsS solution would fix this. Can you provide some code to fix this problem?

Scroll up and down rapidly and it will dislodge. Happens on ever iphone and iPad I have tested it on. Your demo site, not my own.

I just purchased and noticed that the soundcloud does not appear to be working with the player. I am using Chrome (desktop) and safari (iOS).
It does not work on my site or your demo site (linked through codecanyon).
Is there a known issue with current soundcloud support?

No its not. After clicking My Playlist 3 – Soundcloud on the demo page, the following error occurs (see screenshot https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/110510171/not-working.png) it does not work on Chrome.
Are you testing on Chrome?
I am not doing anything special. I open the demo. Click on the playlist button and then Soundcloud 3. Soundcloud Playlist 9 also does not work. All of the rest work.
If you look at the screenshot error you will notice it says “error loading official.fm playlist” even though I am attempting to load a soundcloud playlist.
Could this be the issue? I love the player and it works great on all other platforms. Please help with Chrome!
Nevermind. I got it to work eventually by clearing the cache. The player was attempting to load an incorrect file.

Hi,Player working 100% so far on all mobile and desktops. Jist want to ask,is there a way to hide the xmls playlists location from the main site index.html source code? cause someone with alittle knowledge can download all my playlists and grab all my mp3s since the xml shows clearly the full location of all files being played. OR is there a way i can encrypt all text inside each xml playlist, would the player still pull the playlist and play?

Found another issue. When i hide the “Search” on the player and go test it,i have a xml playlist with 40 songs. When i scroll fast down the songs and it hits the last one, the songs titles disappears completely from the player,with the search ON,it just slides to the last one but the songs don’t disappear, why?

I recently purchased the MP3 sticky player and I am having issues configuring the player to icecast2 server streaming mp3 using icegenerated. Streaming MP3 directly from server works well. However, when I tried configuring the player to leverage the playlist.m3u, I received an XML error on the player.

I receive the following error “Loading XML files local is to allowed or possible! To function properly please test online.”
The information in the documentation does not show how to setup the sticky player to receive mp3 stream from icecast.
C) Preparing SHOUTCAST. – top
In order to stream shoutcast instead on adding the mp3 file in the playlist add the shoutcast server address and at the end of it ;.mp3 , like this : http://95.141.24.224:80/;.mp3. Adding the ;.mp3 at the end of the address will force the server to serve the mp3 stream instead of the http web page. Please note that this player has support only for mp3 stream and it will not work correctly with other formats like .acc or .ogg. The good news is that the player will play the stream on all browser no matter which operating system is used, this applies to both mobile and desktop.

I am getting the following message now: “Error loading file:....Make sure the file path xml or podcast is correct and well formatted”
I have a another player and it’s working fine, streaming mp3 files. I am having the hardest time trying to determine the root cause of this error.
About the XML file make sure it that you don’t have any mistake in it also make sure you are testing online and that your server supports PHP.
About the icecast I never worked with it but is should work as shoutcast basically you need the icecast mp3 stream.

The icecast server is setup correctly and currently streaming MP3 files to my current production environment. I am now testing your player on the production live server and Not working. I have invested many hours trying to get this player to work with no success.
I really like the player but it does not work with live streaming from an Icecast2 server as stated in the description. Can I purchase support or obtain assistance from the developer? If not, Is it possible to obtain a refund? If I can’t get the player to work in my environment, it’s no use to me.
Hi, I want to thank you for your support. I was able to get the player to work with Icecast as well as Shoutcast. It was truly my error in the html code. This is an awesome player and I could not give up on it. Again, thank you and sorry for the confusion.

We did give you an answer. The problem is with the mp3 stream it should not have “pls” in it. This is an example about how the mp3 stream should look like http://mp3.trb-stream.net/;.mp3 , if you test this it will work on all browsers.

I’ve got several playlists set up with only a single track in each but even with “loop” disabled they keep looping. The user can press pause of course but it would be nice if they didn’t need to. Anyway I can force loop off for all instances?

Hi, Your player is working 100% on desktops. I really want to know if there is a way to make it run smoother and lighter on mobile. I have the player on my website with 11 XML playlist with 40 songs on each list. But i noticed it lags scrolling thru the playlists on mobile,like it doesnt respond as fast as on desktops. Also on desktops on the playlists section,it shows you about 6playlists in one window wich is great,on mobile only shows 1 so users have to slide alot to move to lets say the 10th playlist everytime they go to my page. Any way the playlists artworks can be shrinked or something,so on mobile it would show atleast 3 playlist on screen then when you slide it shows you 3 more etc?
I understand but this is how it performs on mobile devices, it depends on the device performance too.

I have another question…
Is it possible to render just the volume controller on a web page? I want to make the opener hidden but have it play when the site opens.
The only control my visitors need is the volume slider. I like the visualizer thing that opens when the site loads also.
