Hello! I’ve only a question: How can I redirect the user to the animated card without his click on the logo? I want to add a countdown.gif like logo and when the countdown ends, the user will redirected to the animated card.

Hi Wall-E, I have a problem with the sound won’t load on the card in IOS safari unless the audio toggle is switched off, it works fine in chrome though so I don’t think its my server configuration.
Any suggestions?

Check with your hosting server if it supports the ogg and m4a files. If the sound opened in Chrome, it is because your server has support for ogg files. The safari is m4a file.
Are 2 audio files because browsers open different file types.

I have checked the server, we have support for both m4a and ogg formats.
The sound does play in safari, however it just doesn’t start until you hit the volume toggle “box” on IOS safari.
In a separate issue the volume doesn’t mute on OSX safari at all!

I’m searching here, and found an interesting information. You’re probably using a certain mobile? It seems that Safari on iOS blocks any kind of sound, and unlocks only after the user interacts with the site.
Please confirm me if you are accessing some mobile device.
Yes, I’m using Safari on IOS8, it works fine on chrome in IOS and OSX
Ok, this is a browser setting. I can not change that, sorry. I think that some browsers do this for security.

Just so that you are aware, the mute button doesn’t work at all in the desktop version of Safari, with macs becoming more and more common this might be a problem for some people.
Hi friend, excuse the delay to answer. I was waiting for a friend using a macbook to retest the card.
He told me that both Chrome, Safari and in the audio button worked normal. In my windows, with the safari browser the card worked also normal.
I believe that the error can be very specific, perhaps in some computer versions.
But do not worry, the card works fine in most browsers!

You can put in the very image of the card. In this case, it would be in the “card_back-sheet0.png” image.
You open “card_back-sheet0.png” in photoshop, insert your image, and saved over the image. Many customers do.

I wanted to post this in case anyone ran into a similar issue. Everything else worked great and I customized what I was able to pretty easily. I did run into an issue using certain combinations of win7 and win8.1 with IE11 (and sometimes IE10) when updating a certain file within the app.
I mistakenly overwrote /images/your_logo-sheet0.png thinking that is where I should update the logo. I forgot to revert it once I found the actual file to update in /your_card/logo_yourcompany.png and moved on. This didn’t affect anything until I started browser testing.
Using browserstack, I tested using a Win7 box running IE11 (11.0.9600.17358) and the application stops with js error IndexSizeError View a screenshot of the error. This causes the animation to stop and basically freeze the page.
As soon as I reverted /images/your_logo-sheet0.png to the original image that came with the app, everything worked again. I could overwrite everything else in /images/ without trouble, but this image is special somehow.
I dug in a little after that and found some posts that may point to a cause.

I understand that maybe you can’t change anything that contruct2 builds, but you might just have add a height/width check to the drawImage method when using those values.
It is sort of an edge case, but I wanted to make you and anyone else who is looking aware.

Is there a easy (read: quick and dirty allowed) way to auto-start the card opening animation? E.g. with some jQuery? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Do not have a quick way to do this. The card is designed to only open if the client clicks.
But my new card “flat” are already coming out with this update, they have that option in xml. You put “yes” or “no” and the card opens.
You could get another card, and use the one you bought on another site, or otherwise. What do you think?

It’s a bit complicated, but I’ll show you where you will change. Open the file “c2runtime.js” in DreamWeaver, or your favorite editor. You will change the following:
Y position (line 19.186) – which has the value “635” you change the value you want.
X Position (line 21.273) – which has the value “960” you change the value you want.

Hi, nwm, simple “CLICK” text below logo will be fine as well. Thanks. But I’ve noticed that sound doesn’t play in IE 11, tested both online and offline on my xampp development server
The sound does not play in IE because your server does not support the file “m4a”. This happened to some customers. But it is quite simple to solve, simply ask the server. Request to support file “m4a” server.

Suggestion for 2015: Add option to have multiple languages. ATM path and XML file name is hardcoded in js file. Add something like language url parameter so that different XML file could be loaded for different URL language parameter. I solved this by using PHP and 4 different c2runtime.js files, one per each language.

Hi,
we are having some issues with the music not playing on iphone/ipad (in safari) or IE, works in chrome on ipad and android as well as other major browsers though.
I assumed this would due to falling back to .m4a rather than .ogg since ie and safari don’t support ogg and our server doesn’t support .m4a
I have updated the card to use mp3 versions of the track instead of m4a and the music is now playing on ie/safari but still not on ipad/iphone. We have now also noticed another issue on Safari, now the music is playing it has become apparent that the music on/off button doesn’t seem to be working on safari (this wasn’t clear until we could get the music to play).
Any advice or pointers would be appreciated.

I advise you to leave the “m4a” format, which is the format of Safari and IE. Ask your support “m4a” format server. Several customers decided that the requesting server. It is very fast and simple to solve.
The button may not be working because of “mp3” format, because I have tested on multiple devices, including iPad and iPhone, and it worked normal.

It is not possible friend, because the card is done in html5. I believe that any e-mail supports html5.
But if you like the layout, along with the card has the file in photoshop. You can save as image and put in the email.

[36, 86, 160] e substituir pela cor que você quer, que no caso é [34, 51, 73]
A cor esta com o valor de RGB, por isso esse formato. A cor só aparece 2x.
Faça um backup, e tente isso ok. Aguardo seu retorno para saber se deu certo.

I believe that you should be testing on your machine. Test the card on your website, on your server. Sometimes the xml does not load when this place. But on the server, everything works perfectly.

We are trying to follow the advice you offered to Lydig (to remove the “audio button” image by saving a transparent image over the source file) but are still seeing the “Audio button” image on the presentation.
We have also removed the “manifest=offline.appcache” file from the presentation and the html tag, but are still seeing the “audio button” image even when clearing the browser cache and refreshing the page.
Can you offer any advice, please?

The card looks great on desktop, but I feel it is too small when viewed on phones in portrait mode. Is there a way we can change the canvas so it crops off the sides? Basically, making the design responsive buy lessening the width, so just the card itself visible.

I made the card for mobile, based on my cell phone. And good for me was reading the texts. But some customers requested ta asking you, leave the card in the center, without lessening.
At the moment I can not make this change, I’m too busy this holiday season. But I will always try to do now resizable. I’ll fix that already exist, and new cards will be well.
