Were you aware that Firefox (I’m assuming it’s the browser doing this) now prevents multiple examples of this script to work on the same page? It’s a tad frustrating they would do that, as I’ve been using it to bring attention to different articles I have for sale.

Hi, nice script! However, it creates a 10px padding/margin below the image it’s applied on making it unusable for my website. Next to that, as stated earlier, it’s not working well on responsive websites.
If above was fixed and it was also usable on divs i surely would buy it after seeing/trying it as freebie.

I downloaded this as Envato’s free download of the month and understand that it doesn’t come with support. But I have a question about a behavior that I’ve seen with it.
I tested it out on some images of a new responsive Bootstrap 3 HTML5 website (not WordPress) that I’ve built and it works great, except for one issue that’s present on both PC browsers and mobile browsers:
1) On PC browsers, it disables or interferes with the responsive resizing of images on websites when the browser is resized up or down. If the site is refreshed, then the images resize correctly.
2) On mobile browsers, such as tablets or phones, the same behavior occurs when the orientation is changed (landscape to portrait or vice versa). On refresh, the images resize correctly.
I’ve tried it with both the “id=xxx” and “class=xxx” methods with the same results. Is this confirmed or expected behavior and is there a way to correct it?
Although the shining image is a great effect that I’ve been looking for and it works great for that purpose, an issue like this would make the plugin unusable on responsive websites. I would have gladly paid for this effect, but would have been frustrated at this behavior. It was just luck that it was a free download at the time I was looking for the effect.

Great plugin, works nice. However, it sort of degrades the image quality on which it is applied. My transparent png logo doesn’t look as crisp as it did, after applying this shine on it.
Do you know a fix?

Is your image miniaturized in css ? If yes, you may try a smaller image size, closest to the display size.
