I went to update the portfolio, but when I click on the module.portfolio. and then try to access the option via the gear icon, nothing happens. I already have images etc in the portfolio and do not want to free install/rebuild this again.. Any ideas?

Hello, how difficult would it be to add a re-order list functionality and a show/hide project to the Portfolio Module? (similar to the video slider plugin where we can reorganize the list)
In other words, I would like to re-organize the portfolio without having to delete and reupload current works.
Also, it would be good if we could temporarily disable the viewing to some of the projects without deleting the whole thing.

Make sure you have followed install upgrade instructions. You need to add one line to configuration file.

I have the same error reported on “unable to add anything to the portfolio or edit any existing entrees.
When i go to the modules, edit the portfolio, and hit save just refreshes the page and al the old setings where back for that item.
so If I where to delete them and just make a brand new item, i hit save, refreshes the page nothing happens, al lthe content erased and it dont save….

There is only one .htaccess file that comes with cms pro. Just make sure you have added rewrite rules to it as per portfolio install instructions.
In the features list is says: “No Page refresh during sorting the category or layout switching” But in your demo it reloads each page when I use the categories to sort it. Have you not updated your demo?

As of now only images are supported, however you can add videos using HTML editor, and display it on portfolio item page. Portfolio is also included in cms pro search engine(full search only). As for the ability to show other users portfolio, that’s currently not possible.
I think I can write a separate plugin to share it with other users, am I correct?

I just noticed you are using the same url as portfolio category, and the above example will not work. You need to split switch case 3 into 2 parts statement like so: http://pastebin.com/aFuqm0cx, than do the same logic for crumbs.php and main.php

I installed the module portfolio locally but I can not me view the page tells me that it is non-existent
Make sure you have added rewrite rules to htaccess file.
the rules I had previously entered it has always worked, the problem is blown out now
the problem is indented. I plugged in the module portfolio data again with a different name and now the entries are visible, I deleted the old files, so I do not know why you could not see the description
hello alex, I found out why you do not see … does not accept the code if you delete the “div” it all works

Got it, you are just missing master theme for portfolio module.
Alex, I tried that and I downloaded the master theme from the other modules and uploaded it under the portfolio module theme folder but the problem still exist. Was I wrong to just take it from the other module and add it for this one? If so, please e-mail me the correct theme that I need to upload. As always, I am grateful for your wonderful support!

You can’t use theme from other modules, it needs to be master theme for portfolio. Can you please resend your email, from my profile. I thought I had it but seems like I don’t.

This is a bit odd… I have installed the Portfolio module on a fresh installation of CMS Pro. When using Google Chrome to update, edit or add a project i get the following error:
You don’t have permission to access /admin/modules/portfolio/controller.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request
i thought it was my version of the browser so i tried on another PC still the same error. Now thinking outside the box i tried using IE (erghhh) however this worked but i couldn’t use the text boxes to change text only in html mode. So moving forward i tried in firefox… To my amazement no problems, however the issue is i am a chrome user and i don’t want to be switching browsers to do updates within the portfolio.
theme i am using is ergo, though i doubt that would make much difference as its admin side where the problem is. Also this is a completely fresh install i have done no modifications. I have even tried using my other server to see if the issue was their…

Your issue is most likely with mod_security, it has nothing to do with browser. Take a look at your php error log, or if you don’t have access to iy, ask your hosting company
