I would like to use this but the theme author of the theme I want to use it in says, “I don’t know this plugin and I don’t know if Skadi get an error because use another Framework ( Redux Framework )”.

Thank you very much for your interest….the ProPanel is a “php framework” for building admin options panel and will work with any Wordpress Theme
Please note that is generally used when building a brand new theme from scratch as most premium themes already come with an options panel.
The Skadi theme you’ve posted seems to already have an admin options panel which you might be able to re-use this existing functionality: http://demo.alessioatzeni.com/skadi/theme-options-general/

To reuse that panel / functionality I’m sure i would have to ‘know’ more than what I do about WP workings. With yours and your easy to do video walk-through that I’ve watched seems to be ideal. The panel that comes with the theme would be for me and the ‘design’ of the site. I’m looking to use your panel to get needed values from the client of the site for things that I add to the site. If you can understand the difference.
So, in a nutshell, do you think yours would work for what I described above?

I am wondering how to use the value from the Page Selector in a different sort of way. I adjusted it to list posts from a custom post type instead of pages, and it returns the post slug in the DB correctly… but I’m not sure how to place it in the loop?

you might want to fix 2 things, your code uses ereg_replace which is depreciated, and also if using a child theme it tries to load the admin javascripts from the parent.

We’ve done some testing and were able to resolve the issue.
It was a minor bug being caused by a JavaScript timeout combined with CSS positioning. We’ve adjusted both items so that the “options saved message” now shows up flawlessly everytime
The updated files have been submitted to CodeCanyon and should be posted shortly.
In the meantime please feel free to download the following ZIP and overwrite the 2 existing files within the pro-panel for immediate fix.

We first want to apologize for such long response time here on ThemeForest. Our Author Dashboard has been down and it’s been super difficult to determine when comments were posted.
Adding sub-pages to the Options Panel’s Navigation is not currently an available option.
One could use the “info” option-type at the top of a particular section to outline all of the options included in that particular section.

Unfortunately this options panel is built using Wordpress-specific functions so will not work outside of a wordpress environment.

Hi, is there an option to have an “add” button to the panel. For example, I want the user to be able to click “add” and then a new filed of “browse image” will be added so that they can add an image to their portfolio.
Or click “add” and a have a new text field added for a new client quote. Etc.

ProPanel is a framework for creating a Wordpress Theme Options Panel so would not likely be the best fit for a Teacher/Student Dashboard.
ProPanel would ultimately be part of a Wordpress Theme so users will need to be logged into the Wordpress Dashboard to view.
Here’s a typical example of how ProPanel is used:
Someone building a Wordpress theme to sell on the ThemeForest Marketplace is in need of a super easy-to-use admin panel script.
ProPanel helps them by adding a fully functionality admin options panel to the wordpress theme within minutes.
It can have an unlimited amount of sections and each section can have an unlimited amount of options.
Each option can then be “called” to display anywhere throughout the wordpress theme. (ie. a color picker option could be outputted to some CSS….a textfield option could be outputted into the footer of a site for copyright details, etc)
