Yes, InterChat provides a log on the server. You can see any chat conversation between a pair of users users or a particular user.
I mean, you can see any chat on the server’s side.

I’ve got problem : I cannot start server in Mac OS X .

Wow, i don’t know what to say. I mean, I tested it on Windows, that’s why i uploaded it on Windows’ section. I don’t have Mac OS X , so I can’t test anything.
Now… seeing the error message you have, you can try to change the port address in server files. Just go to config.txt located at the InterChatServer’s folder and then change the values of the variables ‘puerto’ and ‘puertoMsg’, try to set them to ‘6070’ and ‘6071’ respectively.
That’s all i can help you at my position, remember I don’t have Mac OS X .

Trouble taking off with program. I can only invite myself for a ‘InnerChat’ 
. My computer is 192.168.2.100, the other 192.168.2.101. Installed InterChat on both. Here is the information to make it clear
configuration for 192.168.2.100
settings.txt
192.168.2.100=Frank
serverInfo.txt
ip=192.168.2.100 puerto=6065 puertoMsg=6066 platform=windows
infoUsers.txt
192.168.2.101=Mike
config.txt
timeout=5000 puerto=6065 puertoMsg=6066 sleepTime=10 usersFile=infoUsers.txt logFile=log.txt
So Frank wants to invite Mike for a chat, but there is no Mike in the ‘Online users’ on the left, to invite. And so on.

You only need to modify the client file “serverInfo.txt” and the server one “config.txt”.
The other files are auto-filled by the server/client.
Just startup the server, then open the two clients (make sure they have well setted the IP address of the server), and that’s all.

Did

and ran into
Exception in thread "Thread-0" java.lang.NullPointerException
at Clases.Polling.run(Polling.java:54)
ERROR: Server down or unreachable, check IP address in serverInfo.txt file
No such file, serverInfo.txt
Could you fix this or explain where I can fix it myself. Thanks
I can’t understand, i uploaded the new files with the serverInfo.txt but when i download it the .txt isn’t there.
Anyway, you can fix it by yourself, just create a file called serverInfo.txt in the same folder that InterChat.jar, adit the file and put this lines on it:
ip=192.168.1.103 puerto=6065 puertoMsg=6066 platform=windows
It’s all, ovbiously you must replace the ip adress with the server’s one.

I also included them in the last update, they existed at first but at the 2nd update i forgot to include them.
While waiting for the .bats… I am asked which program should open the jar and am not a Java virtuose. What to do? Your program looks great, but maybe you should make an intro as to what is prerequired. Thank you
