I see your last updated was 2014. Is this script still working as of now?
I want to give my prospective customer an easy step-by-step process to choose from my several services.
For instance, first step will be asking if they have a website.
If they choose yes it will go to the next step, if no will proceed to alternate step, until eventually they reach the page which tell them which services is the best for them.
Can the script do that?

Yes, it is working. If you would like to add some conditions between steps you will need to prepare javascript code to handle them. Plugin is not providing conditions logic between steps. It is providing javascript events which you can use to implement your conditions.

Yes, you can use the plugin for checkout process. You can also put any content inside steps, could be forms and paypal integration code. Anyway if you would like to apply some fields validation of form submissions with saving data in database, you need to code that on your own. Plugin won’t do that automatically.
Its not working . I am using JQuery 1.9.0
I’ll add an update with the newest jQuery version today (jQuery 1.11.1). You can solve the issue with 1.9.0 by downloading jQuery Migrate. After download please save it under js/ directory and link to your site using:

Plugin isn’t responsive, so on mobile devices top step buttons will be showed one under another.

Panel can work as a form and you can split form fields between steps. In steps content you can use any html code, so that’s doable.
hi, nice work , I need something similar like this, is going be for videos explaining , but users need to watch the first video in step one ,, video 2 in the step 2, they can’t skip to the next step , until they watch the video or read the text in each step ,, is this will work forme, ? is it possible to add some code in each step ,so the steps 2,3,4, are not clickable, only can click in the next step button .. thanks

This link don’t work, so i can’t see some example for many panels, can you give me link where i can see that example?
There is livePreview.html file in plugin directory, you can open it in browser and in text editor to check source code.

Yes, there are even 9 panels (4+5 popup panels). If you mean 8 steps in one panel, you can simply add new steps using appropriate html markup – you can check it in docs and examples.
Then you don’t have the right version for download, in help files there are only examples with 4 steps in one panel…or i’m blind 
There is example with max 5 steps – click on ‘Gray’ button at the bottom.

My script provides tabs/steps interface. You can put any content inside steps, so it’s up to you how you’ll configure it with chosen plugin/script.

Yes, you can use any text, french as well. Plugin will works with jQuery 1.7.1 without any problems. Unfortunately it isn’t responsive.

Inside each panel I have a very long content. When the user presses “Next Step” I want it to scroll back up to the top. How can I do this?

Steps are prepared to wroks from left to right, unfortunatelly there is no setting, which will allow to change the direction.
Hey I was wondering if the validation can work for more than one text field. I have a very long form (questionnaire) and I want to use this script to break it into multiple sections.
I would like to run a validation for all fields before the user can continue to the next step. Is this possible?

Yes, that’s possible but you need to write validation code in javascript.
Hey thanks for the answer. One more question: how difficult would it be to align the tabs vertically and having the content adjacent? In other words, I’d like the tabs to be on the left side vertically, and the content on the right side. Would this modification be easy for someone with little HTML/JS experience?

If this would be easy depend of your HTML/CSS experience. It’s not hard if you have some CSS experience of positioning elements. HTML structure can stay unchanged, you’ll need to change CSS for the panel.

Unfortunately this awesome plugin stopped working using the latest version of JQuery (v1.8.1).
It used to work before but now the next-prev buttons are broken in all browsers. The step-images are broken in IE9 as well.
I really hope the developers fix this issue as soon as they can, as the plugin is useless otherwise.
I submitted 2 tickets about the issues.

P.S. Why JQuery 1.8.1 Is so critical – It is important to work with the latest version of JQuery as this version also has some critical bugfixes. For instance the json-parser that never used to work with IE8 . Furthermore does the new JQuery UI (that comes with new features) also only work with the latest version of jquery.
