Is there any way to change or alter (besides color) the arrow images used in the player? I can modify the color of the arrows in the xml, however, the slider changes at the same time. So, i’d like to either replace the arrow images or somehow separate the color of the slider from the arrows. Does that make sense?

As long as the video is not set to private (which means it can only be played by the owner) you can play it with our player

It seemed to stop working when I updated WP to 3.5.1.The layout even looks different than before. All the Transparency sliders have disappeared and nothing saves when I update a player setting or a player listing, etc. Even after creating the new xml files.

Most probably the version you are currectly using is not compatible with WP3.5.
Just download the product again from your account and using a FTP, overwrite all the files of our plugin (except for ‘lbg_vimeo1’ folder) in ‘wp-content\plugins\lbg-vimeo1-player\UPLOAD\lbg-vimeo1-player\’

You need to edit the Flash video player. All the parameters available (over 60 parameters) are presented in help documentation, ‘Component settings’ section.

Hello, when I inquired about this during my pre-purchase research process, I was told that the following would work…but it isn’t working.
Situation: I am making a site for the hearing impaired. I need to include a downloadable PDF file with each video containing the text transcript of the words spoken in each video in my playlist. To that end, I need to add this (or equivalent) HTML to the description field of each video in the playlist:
<aa href=”http://www.mydomain.com/transcripts/category/topic/details/transcript001.pdf” target=”_blank”>View Transcript</aa>.
...However, having tried this, it doesn’t work. Please advise. Thank you.
NOTE: I added an extra ‘a’ to the opening and closing href tags in the example above so that this text box wouldn’t convert it into a hyperlink; however, I did not add extra ‘a’ letters when I implemented the same code in the description field of my video playlist. Thx!

You need to generate the playlist.xml file.
If you created a new video player (for example ID=2) don’t forget to also generate the playersettings.xml and playerstyles.css files

Thank you! I have generated playerSettings_1.xml, playlist_1.xml, and playerstyles_1.css files. The side-oriented playlist and player window display correctly on my page via the shortcode, but the preloader spinner remains indefinitely where the video should display. Note: I am developing my site on a Mac using MAMP. Could the issue have to do with the fact that my site is local on my hardrive and not live on the Internet?
If you test it on a virtual server and the computer is connected to the internet it should be no problem. Maybe your mac is blocking the access to internet for the video player.
Please try to run a test on a server and see if the problem persists. Also, make sure, you’ve added the vimeo ID correctly in the playlist, as you saw in our example

Is there a special order in which I should generate the XML and CSS files? Because even your two-video playlist example (ID-”1”) is drawing all of the player/playlist elements, but playing only the spinning preloader pacifier graphic; none of the Vimeo videos load nor play. I deactivated your plugin, deleted it from WordPress, then re-downloaded and reinstalled it…and now it works. Who knows. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. (However, my other problem re the hyperlink to a PDF [see below] is still not resolved.)

Yes, you are right, I’m very sorry about that. I’ve double checked and in Flash, the click event associated with the playlist item will overwrite the <a href=""></a>
Any way you can put the pdf download links outside the player? Something like a dropdown list, with the titles from the video playlist.

I have seven seasons of a Web-based ‘how to’ series for the hearing impaired. Each season has roughly 50 five-minute episodes. Each episode has it’s own PDF file that needs to be associated with each video, in a clickable (open in new window) format. Having a separate dropdown menu for the PDFs would not make for a good overall UI, and would be quite inconvenient for the users overall. Is there no way to restrict the Flash click event associated with the playlist to the video thumbnail and/or title text only, thereby freeing-up the playlist description area for HTML, inclusive of hyperlinks?

The text area allows HTML tags. The only way to make the <a href=""></a> code work in the playlist area is to disable the flash click

What about some ActionScript and/or JavaScript code? Is there anything that can accomplish this same objective? I really need this to work; it’s one of the main reasons I bought your playlist player. There has to be some way to make it happen. Your thoughts?
Only to cancel the click event for playlist item. You’ll be able to play the video from the left side controllers and to navigate the playlist from the next & prev arrows (near the search area).
Just a thought: placing just beneath the video player “Download PDF files: ” and a drop down with the playlist titles would be quite user friendly. When the user will select the element from drop down the PDF download will begin

The plugins are independent and you can use them both in the same website.
Please note that the HTML5 video player doesn’t have Vimeo support.

This will play only Vimeo files and is not supported by IOS.
We have this video player WP plugin http://codecanyon.net/item/html5-video-player-wordpress-plugin/1613464 which will play on IOS. It needs .mp4 (H.264) files (not .mov). Please check the video tutorials.
