Great script—I find it interesting, and it’s exactly what I need. However, for a future update, I would like the option to hide prices from the team; since I plan to use this module to manage production orders, the staff doesn’t need to see the pricing.
Hi Solval, Thank you so much for your valuable feedback and kind words! I’m glad to hear the module fits your needs. The option to hide pricing from staff/team members is a great suggestion, and I’ll definitely consider adding it in a future update.
Hello -
Firstly, thank you for this nice module and looking forward to seeing it expand. A feedback request: Please add ability to link the work order to project(s), task(s) and optionally calendar. Would also be great to have in the customer work order the option for the customer to attach file per work order line item and add notes. These can be permission based to allow or not per customer.
Thank you Khairat
adding – maybe some of this can be extend of the custom fields like type for example the notes and attachment.
Hi theknightz, Thank you very much for your valuable feedback and suggestions. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the module so far. The ideas regarding linking work orders with projects/tasks/calendar, customer attachments and notes per line item, and permission-based controls are very helpful. I’ll review these carefully and plan to include relevant improvements in upcoming updates of the module.
Thanks again for your support and detailed feedback.
thank you – please also make it that’s compatible with SaaS module as it’s a important configuration: https://codecanyon.net/item/perfex-crm-saas-module-transform-your-perfex-crm-into-a-powerful-multitenancy-solution/46070331.
This module is already build SaaS compatible.
confirmed on SaaS – tested and works! Thank you Khairat and keep the great work up!
Thank you so much for testing and confirming the SaaS compatibility — I really appreciate it!
Your workflow and feedback have been very valuable, and I’m glad to hear the module is moving in the right direction for your use case.
I’d truly appreciate it if you could leave your feedback/review on Codecanyon as well. Feedback from real users helps a lot and motivates me to continue improving and expanding the module.
Thanks
hey i really like this .. but what about the adding custom fields to the workorder?
can you make it so that upon registering to the perfec crm as a client that work order is automatically created for the client to get a hash url and sign> faster cleaner and more convenient workflow
Hi followeuphoria, glad you like it! Custom fields: Custom fields are not supported yet, I’ve added it to the roadmap for an upcoming release.
Auto-create workorder on client registration: This is an interesting idea, but I’d like to understand your use case a bit better. A workorder in this module is tied to a job — it carries line items, tasks, and pricing inherited from an estimate. Creating one purely to get a signing URL on registration would result in an empty workorder with no job context, which may not be the cleanest fit. If your goal is simply to capture a client signature on registration (e.g. for terms acceptance or a service agreement), that’s a slightly different requirement that this module isn’t designed for today. Could you share a bit more about your workflow? I’m happy to tell you honestly whether this module fits, or whether it’s something I could look at building.
Thanks!
email sent privately thanks
I’ll check ASAP. Thanks
Thank you for your patience, team has replied to your support, please check. Thanks
Could you please record a video showing how to use this, as I couldn’t find the convert button? It would also be helpful if you could include a wider view.
Also, can the proposal be converted into a job as well? I usually don’t show job details to customers, as I treat this as internal information only. Instead of an invoice, I use this list as the products needed to manufacture the order.
Hi elfis, Thanks for your interest and for exploring the demo! A walkthrough video is on my list — I’ll get that recorded shortly.
Quick clarification on the convert button: workorders are created when a client accepts an estimate. If auto-convert is enabled in Setup → Settings → Workorders, it happens automatically. If not, go to Estimates → Accepted tab and you’ll see the Convert to Workorder link in the action column.
Regarding your internal workflow — keeping job details private from customers is fully supported. Workorders in Draft status are not visible in the client portal at all, so you can use it purely as an internal job tracker. The customer signing step is optional. Currently the module doesn’t have a standalone job/production order feature, but if you have specific requirements, feel free to reach out — I’m open to discussing a custom development. Thanks!
Hi, nice! Is there a option for the staff to see the work order and not see pricing?
Hi tgg1061, thanks for the kind words! Currently the module doesn’t have a dedicated option to hide pricing from specific staff members — the permission system controls what actions staff can take (create, edit, convert, etc.) but not column-level visibility like prices. That said, this is a great suggestion and something I can consider for an upcoming release. I’ve noted it as a feature request. If this is a hard requirement for your workflow, I’d recommend waiting for that update before purchasing — I’d rather you make the right call. Thanks!
Ok thanks!
