Thanks the issue is caused by the BuddyPress Follow plugin which is not available in the WP repository. Everything ok after deactivating it. I need the follow button, do you have a plugin recommendation to replace it?

I hope you make a Follow extension. Many will buy because it’s not available in the repository and unstable.

Hello AlonaGomez,

Please make sure to download and install the BP Follow plugin from the following URL: https://github.com/r-a-y/buddypress-followers

Please note that you should not install it from the WordPress repository.

We have tested it on our side, and it is working fine.

Do you have a list anywhere of the themes that work well with your plugin?

Hello jbensous,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Please check this article: https://kainelabs.ticksy.com/article/14727/

Can anyone in Youzify tell me why you guys are using a very light difficult to read color for text? Just compare with one is easy to read – https://prnt.sc/xOxO17ku2BJO

Key Contrast Ratios for #898989

On white/light background (e.g., #FFFFFF or #F8F8F8): Contrast ratio ≈ 3.50:1 WCAG AA (minimum standard): Passes for large text (≥18pt or ≥14pt bold) → 3:1 required Fails for normal/small text (<18pt non-bold) → needs ≥4.5:1

WCAG AAA (enhanced): Fails both normal and large text (needs 7:1 / 4.5:1) → Verdict: Okay for headings/subtitles/large labels, but too low for body text, forum posts, or bio descriptions — users with low vision may struggle.

Hello krishnakumar_ka,

Thank you for your feedback.

We currently use our standard color and font styling across the plugin. However, if you need any customization (including contrast adjustments), we’d be happy to assist.

If you’re using the Pro version, please reach out through our premium support forum, and our team will gladly help you with the changes.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Best regards, KaineLabs Team.

Currently testing it. So, this basic question came: https://prnt.sc/6nGgqbFNtNJN

Hi krishnakumar_ka,

If you mean changing the font color and size, as I mentioned in the previous message, this can be easily done using CSS.

If you are using the Pro version, you can also submit a request through our support forum, and we’ll be happy to make the changes for you.

Best regards, KaineLabs Team.

Does it support the LISTEO WordPress theme?

Hello japstyle82,

Unfortunately, we haven’t tested Youzify with the Listeo theme yet, so we can’t confirm compatibility at this moment.

To be safe, we recommend testing it first using the Youzify Free version, which you can download from the link below:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/youzify/

If everything works fine with the free version, it’s very likely that the Pro version will also be compatible.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I waited so long for a solution to 2 of my tickets that my support license has expired. Again!!

I must have purchsed 5-6 licenses now and I purchased the full year extension license 2-3 times, when there’s barely been any updates at all.

We need a response on the tickets : Tickets : 4531220 + 4533220

Hi lalalua,

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and the delay in responding to your tickets. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused.

At the moment, we are in the middle of an internal support system transition, which has unfortunately affected response times for some tickets, including yours. We truly appreciate your patience and continued support.

For your specific cases (Tickets #4531220 and #4533220), please email us directly at contact@youzify.com, and our team will make sure your issues are reviewed and handled as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and again, our apologies for the inconvenience.

Is this plugin still being updated? It seems that it hasn’t been updated in almost a year. Is it still being fully supported?

Hello gimel1234,

We sincerely apologize for the late reply, and thank you for your patience.

Please rest assured that we are still actively developing and supporting this plugin. Our team is currently preparing an update, which we plan to release in the near future.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

been attempting to set up push notifications using either onesignal or firebase and neither seem to work..This should be crucial for social engagement..if we cant get this working we are deciding to look elsewhere for a plugin with the solution..do you have anyway that this can work ?

Hello zerotechz ,

We understand how important push notifications are for social engagement.

Unfortunately, at the moment, Youzify is not integrated with any third-party push notification services, including OneSignal or Firebase.

Push notification integration is something we are considering for future updates. Your feedback is valuable and helps guide our development priorities.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

Seems like the push notifications issue has been brought up previously with your team a few years back as well…I would say your team is way behind on the times honestly. We have decided to code our site away from WordPress and discontinue the youzify plugin due to youzify missing this feature…user engagement has increased now that we have incorporated push notifications into our new site as well…you have a great toy for sure but it’s behind on the times and time to bury it

Hi zerotechz,

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback.

You’re right that push notifications have been requested in the past, and we acknowledge that this feature has not been implemented yet.

We respect your decision to move away from WordPress and wish you continued success with your new setup, especially if it has helped improve user engagement. Your feedback is valuable to us and will be taken into consideration as we plan future improvements.

Thank you for having used Youzify, and we truly wish you the best moving forward.

I purchased this long ago but installed now.when I go to my site https://www.mydomain.com/lost-password/ and enter the email to get the link for new password, as soon I hit enter it takes me back to my wordpress homepage at https://www.mydomain.com/ It does not say anything that email is sent or something like that. My question is does youzify not support reset password? I even created a new page in my wordpress called “Password Reset” and enter the shortcode inside [youzify_lost_password] but still my reset password does not work.

I tried to look up on youtube and google, can not find the answer anywhere. That’s why commenting here. Please guide me why my reset password page https://www.mydomain.com/lost-password/ is not working???

Just to update, I was using Hide login plugin that was causing, now I disabled hide login plugin and works fine. Is there any admin login hide plugin which is comptaible with this youzify and with buddypress? Please let me know, I have tons of attackers and spmmers on my birds website, I want to hide my admin url

Hi Kisssssss,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We don’t recommend using WP Hide Login because it can interfere with the lost-password system. Instead, we suggest using the following snippet to automatically redirect users to the Youzify login page whenever they try to access the default WordPress login page.

Is the plugin already updated to the very populair divi5 theme that is in beta now? It wil be a final release before the end of 2025 and our site needs to migrate to the divi5 version but at the moment the youzify plugin does not work on our staging environment

Hello melioro,

Unfortunately, we haven’t tested the compatibility between Youzify and the latest version of Divi yet. However, you can try updating it to see if everything works properly.

We strongly recommend making a full backup of your website before proceeding, in case any conflicts occur during the update.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi, before purchasing a license and deciding which add-ons I need, I’d like to know if I can use your plugin to create a community where the user who signs up can decide what type of user they are (for example, a footballer or an agent). I’d like to know if it’s possible to create conditional fields for registration (for example, if I select a footballer, the “category” field should be blank). I’d also like to know if it’s possible to filter by user category (for example, by “footballer category”) when searching for members, in addition to adding filters as a menu item. I’ve looked at the add-ons, but I’d like some clarification before purchasing. Thanks.

Hi hostsolutionslabs,

Thank you for clarifying.

Please note that Youzify Pro is not included in the All Access Pass. It’s sold separately through Envato Market. The All Access Pass gives you access to all of our plugins except Youzify Pro, as it is considered as core plugin.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

Hi, I’ve been using your plugin since purchasing it to build my community. I also installed the Member Type and Membership Restrictions add-ons. I’ve thus created two user types: “footballers” and “agents.” However, I’ve noticed that if I want to set limitations or restrictions for these user types, they don’t appear in the plugin settings. Why? Aren’t they also created as roles? How can I best manage them?

Thank you so much for purchasing our plugin!

I bought the tool and used it for a short time because it didn’t have what I needed at the time. I’m wondering, what tools do you have for creating paid online courses?

Hello cortesmedia,

Thank you for reaching us.

Youzify does not have a built-in paid membership system. However, we’ve seen some of our customers successfully use third-party plugins such as Paid Memberships Pro or WooCommerce Memberships together with Youzify.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

Hi, I’m interested in your plugin. Before proceeding, I’d like to ask if it’s possible to integrate a payment system for community membership, such as a monthly or annual subscription. If so, could you tell me which compatible plugin to use? Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Unfortunately, at the moment Youzify does not include a built-in paid membership system. However, many of our users successfully integrate Youzify with third-party plugins such as WooCommerce Memberships or Paid Memberships Pro (PMP), and they work well together.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello KaineLabs Team,

First, let me say how much I truly appreciate the Youzify plugin. It has completely transformed my Bankerpedia project and given me a strong foundation to build a cool community. Honestly, I’m loving it every single day, the level of detail and features are outstanding.

I realize that my official support has already expired, and I completely respect that. Still, I thought of reaching out because even a small nudge from your side would mean the world to me and help me take full advantage of Youzify.

Here are the few things I’m struggling with:

1) Menu for logged-out users: I want visitors to immediately feel the excitement of joining the community. Could you kindly guide me on how to show menu options like Groups, Members, Activity, etc. (all those engaging pages) for logged-out users, so they are compelled to join? I need detailed links of all of these pages

2) Menu for logged-in users: Similarly, I’d love to set up a different menu for members once they log in with options like Profile Settings, Edit Profile, and so on. (all the pages link i need to put in menu)

3) Improving the look of Groups & Members pages: At the moment, my Groups and Members pages look a bit cluttered. I’d be so grateful for your guidance on how to make them appear clean, professional, and sleek. See member page – https://prnt.sc/0D3Ywrg8-hzC See groups page – https://prnt.sc/07sPhBGiYipq

I completely understand your time is valuable, and I am genuinely grateful for any guidance, tip, or pointer you could share. Even a quick direction from your team would help me immensely.

Youzify has been one of the best investments I’ve made for my website, and I’d be proud to showcase it looking its best with your blessing and advice.

Warm regards, Surya Bankerpedia.com

Thank you Team KaineLabs for showing kindness, I am really struggling these days and I will never forget what u did for me. I have sent the email form my registered envato email. I haven’t requested for any custom development, I just requested to fix the members and groups pages only which is messy and unusable on my installation.

Thanks again

Dear Sirs,

I am experiencing serious issues with thousands of bots posting comments on the activity wall and creating fake profiles. Unfortunately, Cloudflare has not been able to stop them.

Could you please advise me on which plugin or add-on could help? Ideally, I would like to restrict posting until a member has been registered for a few days, or find another effective way to block these bots.

In addition, is there a way to prevent users from adding links in the “About Me” section? Bots are injecting HTML there in order to gain backlinks to their gambling websites.

Most of these are Vietnamese bots. They post in Vietnamese, and even when I add Vietnamese words to the forbidden words list, Youzify doesn’t seem to save them properly—it always ends up blank after saving.

Can the BuddyPress Moderation Plugin help with this? If not, which plugin would you recommend to effectively stop these bots?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello johnboob,

Thank you for clarifying.

For controlling activity wall spam, there are a few approaches you might find useful:

1 BuddyPress Moderation Plugin can certainly help with reporting and moderating suspicious content, but it may not fully prevent bots from registering or posting.

https://youzify.com/downloads/buddypress-moderation-plugin/

2 To block bots more effectively at registration, using a plugin like Wordfence Security or CleanTalk Anti-Spam is often more powerful than Cloudflare alone. CleanTalk in particular works well with BuddyPress and can filter bot registrations and spam posts.

That said, please keep in mind that sadly these problems are not caused only by Youzify. Spam bots often exploit other plugins or even the theme if there are vulnerabilities. For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping all plugins and themes updated to the latest version and always downloading them from official, trusted sources.

Best Regards, KaineLabs Team

Thank you so much for your great support! One thing that would really help is blocking HTML where it shouldn’t be allowed. For example, even after I removed the website information from the profile, bots are still injecting HTML links to gambling sites in the “About Me” widget. I’m sure there’s a way to prevent this. If the bots aren’t able to insert links for their websites, then it likely won’t make sense for them to keep registering.

Ler me know if there is a way of blocking the html.

Thanks!

Hello johnboob,

Blocking HTML would require a custom code snippet, and unfortunately we don’t have this available by default at the moment. However, if you have a Pro version license, you can access our Premium Support Forum and request it there. Our developer team will be happy to assist you.

Best Regards, KaineLabs Team

Under Register settings, the button “Enable registration” constanly disable by itself, is there suggestion why this is not working (I have checkd the wordpress options and buddypress). When a user try to register it shows the message “user registration is currently disabled”, I would reallly appreciate some help please Thanks

Hi robmedpruebas20,

Thank you for reaching us.

Please try disabling Youzify while keeping BuddyPress active. Then check if the same problem occurs on the registration page with only BuddyPress active.

Best Regards, KaineLabs Team.

Could you please update your changelog? And which files exactly are affected by the update? I have some customizations and have to update manually. THANKS!

Dear Team,

I have tried everything I can to stop spammers from posting on Youzify, but unfortunately, without success.

They are injecting HTML into the “bio” widget and adding links to their posts.

Is there a way to block HTML or links in the bio widget? Can HTML be blocked in posts as well?

If this is not possible, is there a plugin you recommend that effectively blocks spammers?

Thank you for your help.

I have received notification of a new update for the youzify plugin but I do not see a changelog file of changes for this update…attempting to find a changelog over this update seems to lead me throughout several articles of outdated changelogs…I feel it’s highly important to show this update changelog prior to administering the updates… I noticed quite a few other developers actually place their changelogs right on the item details page so we can see changes made and trust what we are installing..may I ask why it is hard for your team to show a changelog over the updates ? We received notification of the youzify updates but have no clue as to what the changes are…I just don’t install updates blindly
