Is there a way to prevent users from registering themselves, and instead have the admin create an account and assign a plan to them? I’ve tried doing this, but even if I add a plan manually (using the right-click/context menu), it doesn’t work until the payment is actually processed. Is this normal behavior?
Yes that is possible.
You will have first to go to Settings > Authentication > User Registration and set it to Disabled.
After that you can add users from Dashboard > Users > Add.
After you create a new user make sure to click on Add Subscription button so you can assign him a plan manually.

Additionally, it would be very helpful to be able to start from existing permission sets (client, admin, subuser), copy them, and then add or remove specific permissions, instead of starting from scratch.

While you’re fixing this, please also consider adding the ability to collect the phone number when users register via social media. At the moment, the phone number field remains empty, even though phone number entry is set as mandatory during registration in the settings.

Yes PWA is supported in vCard+ BioLinks and other types. You will have to add favicon for each one of them to get this working and there is an option to upload the favicon in the system.
Is it the complete app that is PWA eg. User can open app and the Wifi QR Code Generator is available same as the website homepage or is it just the supported types you mention that is PWA?

Sorry for the late reply,
There is no automatic offload, but user generated content will be uploaded to the cloud storage after you configure the credentials successfully.
css and js files will not be uploaded. And yes this is compatible with custom domains feature.
Users are using Amazon, Vultr and Contabo for the object storage, I don’t have any personal recommendation.
