I have managed to replicate the issue and get the site live, but only through a manual ‘backdoor’ installation. The official SkillGro web installer is currently failing to execute on the VPS, which usually points to a bug in the script’s environment detection.
I have manually populated the database and verified that all 113 core settings are present in the tables. However, despite the data being there, the application’s dashboard is failing to retrieve and display it correctly. This indicates a fundamental flaw in the application layer or a broken connection between the script and its own database.
Since the server is performing its role correctly (storing and returning data), you will need to contact SkillGro support or the license author to investigate why their software is ‘blind’ to its own configuration.

1. Recording of Live Sessions: The instructor can record the lecture during the live session. Once the session is complete, they will be able to upload the recorded video directly to the platform for students to access.
2. Content Protection on YouTube: If you use YouTube as the source, the default YouTube controls like share and download options will be visible, which means users could potentially share the content outside the platform. That’s why we also support other hosting options such as self-hosted servers, AWS, Wassabi, Vimeo, etc., which give you full control over your content and help prevent unauthorized sharing or downloading.

we are facing issues with the HTTP 504 – time out error when few users like 25 users at the moment. I have done a load test for 25 users, it is continuously failing wanted to scale this up for more users but code is not supporting, I have sent email to websolutions1@gmail but no response, purchased the product with extended support. also tired reaching your website not able to register or signup or signin

1. Instructor Functionality No, the instructor feature cannot be fully disabled at the moment. However, you can operate the platform yourself and choose not to use external instructors.
2. Gift Course Addon – SMS Support Currently, SMS functionality is not supported for sending gifts. The system supports email notifications only.
3. How the Gift Course Works When someone purchases a course as a gift, they complete the payment and provide the recipient’s email address during checkout. The system then sends an email to the recipient. Through that email, the recipient can access and enroll in the gifted course without making any payment.

Regarding additional features such as business service providers, classified listings, or a broader marketplace model, we currently don’t have plans to implement those.Our primary focus is to keep the project lightweight and avoid over-bloating it, so it remains easy to use and suitable for a wide range of users whose business workflows align with the current structure.

If i don’t have pre-record lessons/videos, and wanted to sgow only live classes, will that appear in landing page or courses section? Or live classes don’t appear like normal pre-record lessons/courses ?
Under the current system logic, users are only able to access live classes after purchasing the course. At the moment, live classes are not displayed in the course curriculum on the landing page; only pre-recorded lessons and quiz items are shown there.

The videos are protected with several layers of security to prevent normal users from downloading them via “Inspect” or “Network.” For stronger protection, you can also use Amazon S3 for storage. 3. We use signed URLs, so only authenticated users can access the video. Shared or inspected URLs for download won’t work.
