Yes, you can install the Thermal Print add-on on your localhost and register it using the same purchase code. However, please note that all Smart School add-ons, including the Thermal Print regular licence, are allowed to be used on only one domain/subdomain/URL/client/installation. For any additional use, a new regular licence must be purchased. Alternatively, you can buy an extended licence, which allows you to use a single purchase code on unlimited domains/subdomains/URLs/clients/installations.

So, you can start using the add-on on your localhost. Later, when you wish to move it to your online server, uninstall the Thermal Print add-on from your localhost, then open a ticket at our support portal https://support.qdocs.net/ requesting licence reset. We will remove the purchase code from our database form your localhost url, so that you can activate it on your live domain.

Currently some fields, like you mentioned, fees, total and balance, are missing in the thermal print receipt on print bulk fees print because of less space available; however, we are trying to manage and add these fields in the thermal print receipt, like in a normal receipt, and will add soon.

Currently there is no option available for this, and also the thermal printer prints in only black colour, so if we add the school logo, then it will print in black colour in a very small size and will not be clearly shown on the receipt. That’s why we have not added it; however, if we get sufficient requests for it, then we will try to add it in upcoming updates.

The logo is part of a school’s identity and must have its place even in black because we all know that thermal printers always print in black.

Due to low resolution or low dpi printing generally thermal printers unable to print images clearly so most of applications not provide logo printing option for thermal printing that is the reason initially we have also not provided logo printing option.
