Hello, I recently purchased your Public Roadmap & Feedback Board plugin and I’m planning to use it in an associative/community context, where members can propose ideas and vote on initiatives that help promote respect, positive behavior, and cultural development.
Before fully integrating it into my website, I would like to clarify a few points:
1) Integration & compatibility Is the plugin fully compatible with WPBakery Page Builder when using the shortcodes [public_roadmap], or [feedback_form] inside columns, tabs, or sections?
Are there any known compatibility issues with the Essentials (PixFort) WordPress theme?
2) User submission & moderation Can visitors submit ideas without creating a WordPress account, or is login required?
Is there an option to enable manual moderation before ideas become publicly visible?
3) Customization Can all labels, buttons, and messages be customized to fit a community/association context rather than a SaaS/product environment?
Does the plugin support locally hosted custom fonts (e.g., via the “Custom Fonts” plugin)?
4) Organization of ideas Can the default statuses (“Planned”, “In Progress”, “Published”) be renamed to match our internal terminology?
Is it possible to create multiple categories to organize ideas (e.g., Respect, Culture, Behavior, Projects)?
Can certain ideas be pinned at the top of the list?
5) Display & roadmap Can the roadmap be displayed on a dedicated page or inside a WPBakery section using a shortcode?
Thank you in advance for your help. Your plugin seems perfectly aligned with the participatory spirit I want to build, and I’d like to ensure it integrates smoothly into my project.
Best regards, Kader
sorry for the typo in the introduction, but I haven’t bought yet, but I’m really thinking about it.
Hello Kader,
Thank you for your interest. Find Your Answers below:
1) Integration & Compatibility: Shortcodes [public_roadmap] and [feedback_form] should work in WPBakery columns/tabs/sections. We haven’t tested with Essentials (PixFort) theme, but standard WordPress shortcodes are typically compatible.
2) User Submission & Moderation: Yes, visitors can submit without a WordPress account (login not required). Yes, manual moderation is available. New submissions default to “Pending” and are hidden until you approve them in the admin panel. You can disable auto-approve in Settings.
3) Customization: Labels/buttons use WordPress translation strings, so they can be translated. Direct renaming without code changes isn’t available in the current version. Custom fonts via “Custom Fonts” plugin should work if applied through your theme’s CSS.
4) Organization: Status renaming: Not available in the current version (would require customization). Categories: Yes, you can create unlimited custom categories (Respect, Culture, Behavior, Projects, etc.) via Public Roadmap → Categories. Pinning ideas: Not available in the current version (would require customization).
5) Display: Yes, the roadmap can be displayed on any page using [public_roadmap] or [feedback_board] shortcodes, including inside WPBakery sections.
Customization Services: For status renaming, pinning functionality, or other customizations, please email us at support@developerinfotech.com with your requirements, and we’ll provide a quote. The plugin should work well for your community context with built-in moderation and category management.
hello (google translate) Thank you for this feedback. I have one last question, when people fill out their form and post “an idea,...”, and it is visible on the page, as soon as we look at the post, the sender’s email address appears – is there an option for it not to appear to the public? This is an important point for me – I don’t want everyone collecting everyone else’s addresses. Thanking you in advance for your response. Sincerely.
No, there is no option to display or hide the sender’s contact information publicly. However, this is a minor update that we will definitely add in our next release.
Ok thank you for your feedback. I am interested in your plugin and would be willing to purchase it now. But I will wait for your update, to check that the possibility of hiding the sender’s email address is checked in your demo to be sure of my purchase. Do you plan to update this quickly so I can see? Thanking you in advance, sincerely,
Sure, we will try to update the plugin next week. Thank you.
Hi Kader, Its updated now. Thank you.
Good morning. Thank you for your feedback and for considering the request. I am very happy and I will buy your plugin – The idea of this plugin is a very good idea – If I may make suggestions, continue the development by adding new features (possibility of comments with and between users, of adding an image to an idea posted by the admin,....). Highlighting these developments on your sales page will help improve your sales, I am sure. The success of selling a plugin depends on its developments and the way in which you communicate. More plugin is under development, the more buyers gain confidence and see potential uses for their websites – In any case THANK YOU, I will definitely buy it soon.
Ok. Will consider this in next update if possible then we will do. Thank you.
I purchased your plugin – Thank you again for considering the request – I wish you every success with the sales of your plugin. Kind regards
Thank you. please dont forgot to give rating and feedback.
Hello,
I have a prepurchase question:
We have a website that is only available for logged in users. Is it possible to collect the user info for votes? We basically want to know who voted for which feature.
Thank you in advance
Cheers
We don’t collect any user information during voting, but we’ll definitely add that option in the next update.
Nice work
Thank you.
