If the post input box could be closed by clicking on the blank area, that would be much better. Forcing users to look for a close button is not very user-friendly and immediately increases cognitive load, similar to how images can be closed by clicking on an empty area after opening them. I am not getting the updates when I download the files.

This version’s update is located in the “Files” folder. All source code in the “Files” folder is part of this version’s update. We’ve also noted this in our Telegram channel. Future updates will be in the “Updates” folder.

When looking through the demo I have two questions: - when clicking on a post and scrolling slowly the reaction window keeps popping up. It’s really annoying, is there an option in the back end to turn this behaviour off? - is there an option to show the date a post was made (I can only see this for comments and not the posts themselves)

Hello. You mean closing the open widget when scrolling? Yes, we will add an auto-hiding function soon.

The post date is shown near the publisher’s name.

No – when you open a post to view comments. If you scroll at a slow or medium pace, the react window pops up. I would suggest some form of logic where the reaction window only pops up after “x” seconds of mouse down AND page has not been scrolled while mouse down etc

Hi, I have a few pre-sale questions:

1) Why does it show “Video is being processed” after uploading a video and posting the feed? Are videos between 10–20 minutes supported in the feed?

2) Is there a setting that allows non-logged-in users to view all post feeds (i.e., make the feed public without requiring login)?

3) Is there a CSS module or custom styling option available in the backend admin panel?

No mate, this is not normal behavior.

1) Based on my testing, it doesn’t support videos between 10–20 minutes (approx 190–250 MB) in the feed. I ran multiple tests to confirm this. Shorter videos with the same video format (e.g. mp4) works correctly.

I also uploaded the same 10–20 minute videos to the Sngine script that I currently use, and uploads instantly with no issues. I am considering shifting to ColibriPlus, but if this is a limitation, then it is a deal-breaker.

Maybe its admin config related to ‘Max’ video duration or ‘file size’ per post. If so, please let me know? This is critical, as I aim is to use for public reels/videos sharing.

2) Please make the Home page (live.colibriplus.app/) and the Explore page (live.colibriplus.app/explore/posts) configurable via admin settings, so the site can be accessed by without login – at least those 2 pages.

I look forward to a solutions.

4) Does the admin panel provide a setting to increase the video post container size so videos display larger in the feed?

Of course we have video limits in configuration files.

Size is limited but can be changed. Video limits on publication can be changed in config/post.php file.

i noticed when i go to profile > Dots > Apply Sanctions seems to delete the user rather than applying a punishment like a ban or so?

So far i cannot see a proper ban option yet which is critcaly needed so that when a user is banned and some 1 views their profile it will say this profile is banned for violation of TOS or Terms Of Use.

While owner when he logs in it won’t just say “You’r account is banned” instead it will take up the content that was cause of the ban within a block container saying “Your account is banned, Reason: content here”

Where it says content here it either contains full copy of post, comment or something to show why this account was banned so the user understands.

Make so posts can be deleted but copy of posts remains with own copy of an image or w.e it contains that violated the ToS.

Also for report posts/comments they shall not remain visible instead they shall become replaced with a “Under review” message similar with comments here so staff of the site can have the time to check it.

Not last but least will we have moderators groups and a moderator panel or something where mods can manage reports, apply punishments etc?

Hello. If we hide posts or accounts immediately after a report, it can be used for illegal purposes to harm people.

The post must stay until moderation reviews it and decides what to do with it.

We are working on the account status feature.

We will add moderator support so admins can assign different rights to moderators.

i think you didn’t understand what i meant.

Post becomes hidden/under review which means only staff members can see the content from within the admin panel under report section. If the content remains visible on main site risks are more people will report it and more reports of same post flows in and there will be alot.

While other users on main site will just see that comment is under review or post is or that whole post vanished during review or comment, if the report becomes rejected the post / comment returns to where it was as normal visible and if report is approved it will delete the post and give admin or mod a way to apply a punishment like a warning, warning with a ban duration or a permantent ban.

Also add so you can add block writting premissions for spammers incase some 1 spams posts over and over a staff can quickly revoke their rights from posting and commenting + sending messages as user and only let it view content.

We plan to build sanctions system for users.

Account status is currently being rolled out more and more on social networks because it is required by law in most countries.

This includes information for the user such as: Is the account at risk and could be blocked, has it been restricted, which functions have been restricted, and is there a risk of losing or blocking the account?

This can be found on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Twitter, Discord, and WhatsApp. This has been rolled out in almost every country because users must be made aware of this and given the opportunity to take action against it. (If there is a violation, they can file an appeal within this account status area).

I hope you will include this feature in an upcoming update, as it is required by law within social networks. Can you comment on this?

That would be good because it is mandatory for social networks due to the legal situation in the states. Otherwise, operators of such networks could face serious problems because it is required by law.

Without this feature, no such social network may be operated. That is the situation in the US and many other countries.

Therefore, it would be great if it were already released in the next update.

This feature is not mandatory for all countries, since we provide users with a control feature on the admin panel. Based on your local law, you can add any extra features you need.

However, we will still add such a feature in our upcoming updates.

I think it would be wonderful if there could be a small feedback mechanism after clicking, just to make the experience feel smoother and more interactive!

2. Also, I was thinking it might be helpful to add a “persistent” post button, similar to X (Twitter), so that we can post from any page, without always needing to return to the homepage. The mobile version already does a great job with this by placing the post button in the center, which I find super convenient!

If you click on poll option, it takes effect immodestly and updates a poll status.

Of course, if your internet is slow or something is blocking your traffic you will not see updates.

So, usually it works if there is no any issue with network.

Many projects built on ColibriPlus are private or heavily customized, so they are not publicly listed as examples. This is common for commercial and community-based platforms.

Over the years, there have been many installations — some are still running, others were discontinued as businesses evolve. That’s a normal lifecycle for web projects and not specific to this software.

ColibriPlus is built as a foundation, not a single demo product, which is why clients often adapt it deeply to their own needs.
