Hello Codericks Team, I hope you are doing well.

We are currently experiencing an issue with image uploads in the admin panel of our Aoxio platform.

When attempting to upload an image, the system logs the following errors:

ERROR – The path to the image is not correct. ERROR – Your server does not support the GD function required to process this type of image.

However, the server environment appears to be correctly configured:

Server Environment PHP Version: 8.2.30 GD Library: Enabled (GD 2.3.3) JPEG / PNG / WebP support: Enabled PHP-FPM services: php8.2-fpm active OS: Linux VPS

Uploads directory structure: uploads/ big files medium thumbnail

Folder permissions are currently set to 777 and the application uses the default upload path:

FCPATH . “uploads/”

Despite confirming that GD is installed and active via phpinfo(), the image processing step (resize/thumbnail creation) fails and produces the errors above. https://appointments.gr/test_gd.php

We suspect this may be related to the image processing function located in: /application/models/Admin_model.php

Could you please review this issue and advise whether this is a compatibility problem with PHP 8.2 or a configuration issue within the Aoxio script?

If needed, I can provide the full upload function and additional logs.

“Hello, The issue with image uploads has been resolved. It was caused by a misconfiguration in the PHP-FPM pool settings for the account. Specifically: The upload_max_filesize was set to a plain integer (8) instead of 8M, which caused the server to reject all files. The upload_tmp_dir was pointing to a path that required manual permission/ownership alignment. After correcting these values and restarting the PHP-FPM service, everything is working perfectly. Thank you!”

Hi, I’m planning to use Aoxio – SaaS as a multi-vertical platform (e.g. Doctors, Wellness, Lawyers, Dietitians).

With an Extended License, is it allowed to install and run Aoxio – SaaS on multiple subdomains of the same main domain (for example: doctors.example.com, wellness.example.com, lawyers.example.com), where each subdomain represents a different category/vertical, but all belong to the same SaaS product and business?

I’d appreciate clarification on whether this setup is permitted under the Extended License terms. Thank you.

Hello, I read two replies from you some months back over the comments that the script is compatible with php v8.3 and so I switched from 8.2 to 8.3. However I immediately got the message “This script requires PHP version 7.4 or 8.2. But your current PHP version is 8.3.30 which is not compatible with this script.”. I have just re-installed Aoxio to its latest version 2.90. Should I disregard this message and proceed working Aoxio at 8.3 or there are indeed incompatibilities to be fixed in the future? Thank you.

We recommend using PHP 8.2 for an optimal, ‘butter-smooth’ experience. However, since PHP 8.2 and 8.3 are highly compatible, the script also runs perfectly on PHP 8.3. If you are already using version 8.3, you may safely ignore this message.

I’m currently evaluating Aoxio and I have a few functional questions to better understand its capabilities before purchasing. Thank you in advance for your clarification.

1. Email notifications & SMTP configuration

Can SMTP servers be configured per user/business, or is email delivery handled globally at the system level?

How are email notifications sent by default (SMTP, PHP mail, third-party service)?

Is it possible for each business to use its own email sender credentials?

I have already seen that WhatsApp and SMS can be configured via Twilio — I’d like to understand the equivalent flexibility for email.

2. Appointment notifications

Can the system notify:

Staff members when a new appointment is created?

Clients when their appointment is created, confirmed, updated, or canceled?

Are these notifications available via:

Email?

SMS / WhatsApp?

3. Subscriptions for end customers (business clients)

Can businesses create subscription plans for their own customers?

Example use case:

A customer pays a monthly subscription

The subscription provides a 100% discount coupon for a specific service

This effectively makes the service cheaper than paying per booking, while improving customer retention

Is anything like this supported natively, or would it require customization?

4. Gift cards / internal wallet (roadmap)

Do you plan to introduce:

A gift card module?

An internal wallet / balance system for customers?

If not currently available, is this something on your roadmap?

5. Regular License vs Extended License (functionality)

Beyond the licensing restriction (charging third parties for using the software), are there any functional differences between the Regular License and Extended License?

Are specific modules or features only available under the Extended License?

Now SMTP Configured globally on Admin panel settings and used third party SMTP library PHPMailer, But if you need each business smtp configuration this is also possible by custom feature integration

2. Appointment notifications

Yes this system notify via email and sms when create, cancel, upcomming appointment

3. Subscriptions for end customers (business clients)

Sorry right now we don’t have any subscription plan for business > customers but we have recurring service option but this also possible to implement as a custom feature

4. Gift cards / internal wallet (roadmap)

Sorry don’t have any plan for this

5. Regular License vs Extended License (functionality)

Regular License - You can’t charge from your end users - No payment gateways

Extended License - You can charge from your end users - Available payment gateways, payouts and commission modules, affiliate module, POS

If you plan to use this product and charge from your end users on the platform (using payment systems) then you must purchase the Extended License, enforced by the Envato license terms.

1. Service Booking: Customers can book one main service at a time. However, you can add multiple service extras under that main service, allowing customers to select and book several extras along with it.

2. Staff Module: Yes, this is possible. The staff module is optional, and you can disable it from User Panel → General Settings if you do not need staff selection.

3. Payment Gateways: Payment gateway features are available only with the Extended License.

4. Commission & Payment Flow: If the Site Owner (you) enables the payment module and sets a commission, all appointment booking payments will be processed through the Site Owner’s payment gateways. After deducting the commission, the remaining amount will be available for withdrawal by each user to their own account. But if you disable Payout module then each business owner will receive their payment to their own gateways

5. Regular License Features: WhatsApp integration, Twilio notifications, QR code, and embedded code features are included with the Regular License.

6. Time slots are automatically generated based on your business start and end times. By default, slot duration follows each service’s duration, but you can also set a fixed duration globally. This allows you to use either service-based or fixed time slots, depending on your business needs.

I’m interested to understand the use case – is this a calendly SaaS clone? if not is it a booksy or SquareGo type clone? It’s difficult to understand from the sales page.

This is not a clone script. This is a multipurpose booking SaaS platform, where you—as the site owner—can sell subscription plans to your users. Each user can create and manage their own complete online booking system under your main platform.

They will have their own business URL, their own dashboard, and full control of their business operations while everything runs under your central SaaS system.

I would like to ask about the API features of Aoxio SaaS. Currently, I see APIs related to Users (Get, Create, Update, Delete), but I didn’t find any endpoint for Bookings / Appointments.

My questions are:

Is there an API endpoint to retrieve bookings (Get Bookings) or receive a webhook when a new booking is created?

If not, is there any way to connect Aoxio with external automation tools, such as n8n, to receive booking data automatically?

Do you provide API documentation for appointments or any method to integrate bookings with external services?

My goal is to:

Trigger workflows on n8n when a booking is created

Send WhatsApp reminders (24h, 2h before)

Send review requests after the appointment

Send follow-up promotional messages

Thanks for contacting us. I’ve checked their website as well, and it appears that the service no longer exists. This is not an issue or a bug in our script — the problem is that the third-party WhatsApp API we had integrated is no longer available on their end.

Since the provider seems to have shut down or discontinued their service, we will remove this API from our main system in the upcoming update to avoid any future confusion.

“Payment gateways only in Extended License” is wild for a booking script. It’s like selling a car and saying “wheels only if you pay double.”
